A fascinating video shows a set of newborn twins, just a few days old, locked in a tender embrace with their eyes closed as they are bathed the very first time.
Credit for the upload goes to Paris-based midwife Sonia Rochel, and has since been watched more than 9 million times since its posting on November 8.

Precious babies already showing they are best buddies. They have known each other all of their lives and have such a special bond. It’s great to be prolife.

Hi Laura Loo. How are you? I love this video, these babies didn’t just start loving each other they have been bonding together for 9 months. Now if you want to start a fight, let someone mess with the other twin when they get big enough to protect each other. Mom and Dad will probably have stories to tell about trying to discipline one twin when they other one is around LOL. We have 2 sets of twins in our family, one in the second generation (they are grown ups now, my children’s age) and another set by the third generation (they are preschoolers). They are hilarious to watch. When they fight each other it can get ugly but they fiercely protect each other from others.
Hi Prolifer L – I’m doing fine. Thanks for sharing of your family experience with the two sets of twins. You made me realize (in the above photo) that the only difference between them together in the tub v. them in the womb was that a belly once surrounded them plus their lifeline to their mother. These babies are pretty gross. I don’t think kids get cute till way later in life.

This reminds me of my roots as a human being, though I am not a twin (unless one considers the seven degrees of separation :) ).
This brings me back only to recall my own development in so many ways. I am grateful to my parents for allowing me the opportunity to be born and to have experienced life. Babies are a true blessing. I remember every bath I gave my sons. The holding, the playtime and the “talks” I had with my infant boys while they played with their tub toys. And the times the bathroom was full of water when they played pirates in the tub when toddlers, are just priceless!!!
Those memories, ah. Now that Thanksgiving is around the corner, I may as well recall their infancy and how they have grown over the years.
