Gospel videos of the day: Jesus paid it all
In commemoration of the greatest event in human history, we celebrate the victory of Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, for defeating Satan and saving all sinners who turn to and trust in Jesus’ finished work at the cross for full forgiveness of sins.
And, being God, Jesus defeated death and rose from the dead – becoming the forerunner for all His children who likewise someday will also rise from the dead and be with Him for all eternity!
Different versions of the Gospel can be found here, here and here.

Our oldest son went to see Son of God this past Wednesday with family friends while on Spring Break this week (my wife and I had to work :( ) He recommends it highly. Hoping it comes out on DVD soon…
Laura, I have always appreciated your contributions and topics presented. I as well wish you a blessed Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday and tonight while reading the Passion of Christ at our Church, you and others here will be in my prayers. May His suffering guide us all……..
Much was made about the scouraging scene being overdone in The Passion of the Christ. When I got the dvd I timed it at about 10 minutes. Intense, yes. But historical accounts say it would often go on for an hour.
I never fail to read the Gospel accounts every year at this time. Nothing in history or legend can compare to what is without a doubt The Greatest Story Ever Told.
Good points Hans. I too remember the backlash when Gibson’s version came out with Jim Caviezel. Very graphic critics proclaimed (the tearing of flash and all). Well – it was the truth!!! None was embellished!!! The Passion of Christ was historically accurate. No scholar can dispute that.
Thank you Thomas, a blessed Resurrection Sunday to you and your family.
I shudder to think of what Christ endured for sinful humanity but am so grateful He purchased us freedom forever.
