Mom with cancer who refused to abort dies shortly after giving birth
I would do this for living if I could…. I really enjoy pregnancy a lot…. All the stuff that’s been happening has all been really cool stuff.

Any reports yet of a feminist-freakout at this celebration of a heroic woman putting her child’s life and health ahead of her own?
How many of us would gladly risk our lives to save a born child from certain death e.g. from a house fire, drowning, being hit by a car? While people may scoff at Elizabeth Joice’s decision, she bravely treated pre-born daughter with the same deference and dignity given to children already born.
The law can’t require her to make the decision, just as the law can’t require someone to jump into a burning building, but thankfully she did just that and give her child a chance at a long life. “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
Just like St. Gianna Molla. What a wonderful woman and mother.
Absolutely selfless.
Kristen beat me to the punch–I was just going to say St. Gianna Molla!
I agree with Carla. Definitely selfless.
The outcry by the pro aborts would only be because Elizabeth’s strength and love for her baby scares the hell out of them. It’s hard for them to fathom selfless acts of love. God bless Elizabeth and her beautiful baby…she’s a true testament to what a mother’s love is.
