Pro-life vid of day: Toddler amputee’s determination inspires
A video showing a two-year-old boy learning to use his prosthetic legs for the first time was uploaded on YouTube on the Fourth of July. His heartwarming declaration of “I got it!” made the video immediately go viral. But Kayden’s inspiration might not have been here at all, had his parents succumbed to doctors’ pressure to abort him. His mother, Nikki, writes:
Kayden Elijah Kinckle was born on June 3, 2012, with an Omphalocele (where some organs remain outside the body) and Amniotic Band Syndrome (where string-like bands are wrapped around the legs and feet while in the womb). These complications led to some deformity with his legs and feet. As a result, Kayden had two abdominal surgeries immediately after birth, and most recently he underwent a double-amputation of his right foot and left leg.
A book suggestion for the family, interviewed here on Fox & Friends, would be The Little Engine That Could:

What a beautiful story! I wish them the best.
God bless her and her beautiful family!!!
He is a beautiful, bouncing baby boy (and he is all boy as you can see by the way that he plays with his daddy). He is a natural fighter who fought to live, fought through his surgeries, is fighting to walk (I love the way he said “I’ve got it”) and he will continue to fight. God has great plans in store for this bundle of joy. Thank God his parents chose LIFE, look what they would have missed. He never was a disposable blob of tissue, a clump or cells or a “reproductive choice”. He was always a unique, individual human being with a purpose. I will keep him and his parents in my prayers, there is a long road ahead for them but he is worth it (actually all babies are no matter what).
Hey Jill, mods and everyone. I just saw it confirmed on the news MIRIAM IBRAHIM IS NOW FREE AND IN ITALY!!!! PRAISE GOD!! I am crying and praising God because I and millions of others have been praying for her release from Sudan where they sentenced her to death for refusing to renounce her Christian faith. There is video of her getting off of a plane in Italy with her family, holding her precious baby girl and of her meeting with the Pope. I understand from the news report that the Italian government and the Vatican were the main ones to work to get her released.
