Stanek Sunday Word: The abolitionist history behind “O Little Town of Bethlehem”

Here’s the fourth in the repeat of my Sunday series during the month of December on the fascinating abolitionist history behind some of our most beloved Christmas hymns. Pro-lifers identify closely with those 150 years ago who fought to free another oppressed class of people. (Also see Go Tell It on the Mountain,” “O Holy […]

Leader of pro-abortion pastor’s org calls pro-lifers wolves in sheep’s clothing

[T]he majority of people of faith, and the majority of Christians support legal access to abortion. And so they wrap their anti-choice ideology in something that sounds warm and fuzzy. The Christian tradition says that Jesus advised his disciples to, ‘Watch out for false prophets. They come to you dressed like sheep, but inside they […]

Stanek weekend Q: What would your life suitcase contain?

by Kelli According to Pro-Life Wisconsin, two WI theaters will feature their life-affirming ad in Milwaukee and Madison during the Christmas season. The group writes: This powerful message reinforces the value and worth of each human person, regardless of his or her characteristics or stage of development, and it concludes with a link to our […]

Pro-abortion “holiday cards” feature babies and IUD snowflakes

by Jill

While Planned Parenthood has largely abandoned its “Choice on Earth” Christmas greetings and cards,  there are still a few invaliant pro-abortion attempts to hijack this sacred Christian holiday.

The Guttmacher Institute, a pro-abortion research organization founded by Planned Parenthood, offered to send your someone special a “limited edition holiday card” featuring babies, children, and families for a donation of only $50. Click to enlarge…

Meanwhile, the inventive Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts used IUDs and birth control pills to create a snowflake “holiday card”

Kwanzaa’s political roots

by Carder While taking the “best of early Chinese and Cuban socialism” — excluding, one hopes, mass murder, forced abortions, imprisonment of homosexuals and forced labor — Karenga said Kawaida practitioners believe one’s racial identity “determines life conditions, life chances and self-understanding.” There’s an inclusive philosophy for you! ~ Conservative pundit Ann Coulter exposing the […]

Christmas Day vids: From the simple to the sublime

by Hans Johnson This holiday is a mixture of family memories and sacred worship. First, we have one man’s lesson from a Christmas past, called “The Christmas Scale”: Next are the chapters of Handel’s Messiah depicting the announcement of The Good News to the shepherds in the field: MERRY CHRISTMAS!
