Vote for life
Election Day offers voters clear choices on a variety of important issues. The election will determine whether we as a country continue to head down the road toward European socialism or instead embrace free markets; whether we have a smaller or larger federal government; and whether we embrace a confident foreign policy or continue to surrender to the jihadists.
But at least as important is the decision about whether we will continue to slaughter millions of innocents or welcome them into the world and protect them under the law.
~ Gary Bauer, Human Events, November 5

Our country is in sad shape. It appears as if our spiritual climate is going to get darker before it gets brighter.
How sad and tragic it is that our country is indifferent to the ongoing legalized slaughter of innocent children.
Where was the church this election?
I don’t believe we as a church have sufficiently mourned over the wickedness that has gripped our country.
I do believe that under our president’s leadership we will have plenty to mourn about over the next 4 years.
God help us.
Maybe too many fundies did actually cast their vote for jesus like a couple of nutjob church leaders told them to?
You’re being mean, Reality. You know people are genuinely sad right? It’s not kind to try and rub people’s noses in it.
Sorry Jack, not my intent. It’s just that there actually were leaders who suggested what I said above and I wondered if some people may have actually done so. Could have made a difference in some places.
What do you think would have been some of the comments on this site if obama hadn’t won?
Oh I am sure some people would be mean. I don’t see the point of it though. Fact is people are really upset and depressed about this and it’s just no good to try to screw with them.
We’d say that maybe we could have some hope, for a change.
We wouldn’t waste our time griping about Obama. We’d actually “go forward” See, all those catch-phrases don’t apply to him at all.
It was meant to be a bit of a ‘hoist on your own petard’ type observation.
I’m happy for the comment to be removed Jack and I apologise if anyone thought it excessive.
Oh, I don’t know. If it’s true that evangelicals stayed home, you may have a point. But it’s not like dem voters weren’t following the lead of their rulers. Err, union bosses, political demogogues, and celebrities.
Oh, now I get it, Reality. That went right over my head. I was a bit double-shell-shocked from the election and the hurricane. Your little joke was that we gun and Bible clingers would literally write in Jesus on the ballot.
Nah, I think there were many more examples of multi-voters for Obama by Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and various dead people.
Not that they needed to. They had plenty of those “some of the people” that you “can fool all of the time”.
