Rick Santorum on the Pope’s “be like rabbits” quote

Santorum

by Carder

Sometimes [it is] very difficult to listen to the Pope and some of the things he says off the cuff, and this is one of them….

When he speaks as the leader of the Catholic Church, I’ll certainly pay attention.
But when he speaks in interviews, he’s giving his own opinions, which I certainly will listen to, but from my perspective, that doesn’t reflect the idea that people shouldn’t be fruitful and multiply, and that people should be open to life as something that is a core value of the faith and of the Catholic Church.

The 1970’s called – they want their arguments back

march-for-life-2015-anti-abortion-getty-images-e1422012832108

by Kelli

There has been quite a learning curve in the pro-life movement since 1973. At first, many abortion opponents were driven by anger.

Abortion was now legal and innocent babies were dying every day. Women were being viewed as murderers rather than secondary victims of abortion. Extremists were blowing up clinics and shooting abortionists rather than viewing them also as human beings with the right to life and potential to change and repent. Slowly but surely the pro-life movement has risen up to meet the needs and countered every argument that can be used to attempt to justify an abortion.

Although there are still some radicals out there, now more than ever, the unconditional love of our loud majority is blossoming, not only toward the women and children in need but also toward those who rally support for abortion rights and those who facilitate abortions….

There is not an argument out there today that is used to justify abortion… which we don’t have the means to remedy. Yet the radical feminists, political figures who support abortion, and those who profit financially from it are still using those same untrue arguments that were initially used to legalize abortion.

They are still screaming that women have no rights over their reproduction. The truth is that women have rights over their reproduction that they ought not to. No one should have the right to decide the date of death for another human being.

So next time you hear an abortion supporter proclaim that pro-lifers don’t care about women, you can let them know that we are here to offer real solutions to women and their children.

We are winning this fight and have overturned their arguments with real solutions and we will not rest until all human life is protected and viewed as having intrinsic value.

Pro-life vid of day: Church takes heat for hosting PP fundraiser

pp-chili-for-choiceby Hans Johnson

St. James Episcopal Church in Wichita, Kansas, is participating in nationwide celebratory fundraisers for Planned Parenthood on the 42nd anniversary of Roe v. Wade. Called Chili for Choice. it will charge up to $1,000 a plate.

In 1967, the Episcopal Church supported abortion in the case of the three oft-cited exceptions, and in 1994 further equivocated in opposing legislative impediments to an “informed choice.”

A protest is scheduled at the church this Sunday. They have been flooded with calls about their involvement, hanging up on at least one blunt questioner. Here a man is having a tough time getting a straight answer from a church representative who doesn’t “want to get into if it’s evil or good.”

Jon Stewart’s Daily Show mocks preborn children

Jon Stewartby Carder

In an interview with one of these lawyers, Jessica Williams asked such snarky questions like “how do you maintain confidentiality with your client” and “how do you know if a fetus is innocent?” The lawyer wasn’t amused, calling out Williams for asking nonsensical questions and even accused her of playing “theater of the absurd.”

The segment hit its lowest point when Williams mimicked vomiting and asked “what is that?” as the lawyer showed her figurines of unborn babies during various stages of pregnancy.

“This is a human life,” the lawyer said.

“Oh, thank God, I thought you were trying to get me to buy chocolate to support your basketball team,” she replied.

  • At ProLife365, Kevin Kukla discusses the life-saving potential of organ donation – but also lists four reasons why you might want to “rethink” your organ donor status.

  • Survivors encourages us to have the same urgency in the pro-life movement that the Civil Rights movement displayed. We have made progress but we must have the sense of urgency and perseverance to see it through after the March for Life is over.
  • Saynsumthn discusses the “communist anarchist group Stop Patriarchy” which plans to counter protest Black, pro-life “fascist” Christian preachers who refer to abortion as Black genocide. Stop Patriarchy claims “Abortion is liberating – NOT ‘genocidal.'”
  • Reflections of a Paralytic was featured on a radio program discussing the best and worst of events occurring in the realm of bioethics in 2014.

  • Right to Life of Michigan says the United Nations is honoring notorious abortionist Willie Parker (pictured right) for showing “courage” in “defending human rights for women.” Interestingly, they avoid the “A” word at all costs, when Parker makes his living robbing preborn children of their human rights.
  • Wesley J. Smith addresses the false idea that pro-lifers only care about children before birth. Disclosing that he never engaged personally with pro-lifers until he became involved with the fight against assisted suicide, Smith says he found pro-lifers to be completely selfless in their care and support for women, men and born children. Smith says that he noticed one thing that seems to be behind the pro-abortion movement’s rhetoric – money:

Every time a woman doesn’t abort at PP, it costs the organization money. In fact, the group is apparently so financially reliant on terminations, that when a new Texas law forced clinics to stop performing abortions, some PP facilities closed down. So much for being about birth control and cancer screening.

    Facts, not demonization.

Moreover, some notable pro-choicers are coming out as positively pro-abortion. Indeed, the argument is now being made in some quarters that fewer abortions is nothing to celebrate because it implies there is a moral problem in the first place.

Pro-life vid of day: Little Flower – a response to anti-life culture

Danielle Rose photoby Kelli

Pro-life Catholic singer Danielle Rose (pictured right) has penned a new song entitled, “Little Flower” in response to the culture’s anti-life mindset, especially toward those with special needs. On her YouTube page is written:

The song ‘Little Flower’ radiates God’s love for people often considered to be unwanted, disposable, or of little value. In China, this mindset has led to a social crisis in the form of the One-Child Policy. Danielle Rose, Rob Kaczmark of Spirit Juice Studios, and a team of talented people traveled to China, where they were privileged to create this music video with China Little Flower orphanage in order to help build a culture of life. Please support the work of China Little Flower, whose mission is to protect, respect, love & serve the lives of abandoned, handicapped, & special needs children entrusted to their care.

Planned Parenthood’s “beneficence” is like a KKK bake sale

ryanbomberger26by Kelli

The nation’s abortionist-in-chief tweeting yet another quote about human dignity from the champion of justice for all is as sincere as China celebrating freedom of speech. “Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle…” was the MLK quote tweeted. And it was sent by one who oversees an abortion empire that ensures millions of unborn humans struggle for their lives and millions of women and men are left struggling to make sense of killing their child in the name of “choice”….

I know. I know. I know. Today’s Planned Parenthood isn’t like it was during Margaret Sanger’s days. And you’re right. It’s worse. Back then, black communities and other designated “unfit” citizens were targeted with birth control. Today, your blood-soaked abortion empire kills the “unwanted” over 330,000 times a year. Yes, I can already hear you proudly proclaim: “Three percent!” As if killing human beings only 3% of the time is okay. I wonder if the American public would be okay with just 3% of their food tainted with toxic sewage. It’s only three percent.

Your propaganda is toxic sewage. And it’s been poisoning generations of Americans to believe that your billion-dollar abortion business (funded by half a billion taxpayer dollars annually) is the savior of women and the poor. No amount of seeming beneficence (e.g. breast cancer exams) makes up for the violent mutilation of hundreds of thousands every year.

Even the KKK runs bake sales.
