Stanek Sunday funnies, “Liberals turn on Obama II” edition

This week critical mass was reached. The Benghazi, IRS, and DOJ scandals became too much for liberal cartoonists to ignore, and they came down en masse on President Obama. It appears the likely straw was spying on one of their own.

TODAY: Religious Freedom Action Day

religious-freedomV2As you know, President Obama is trying to crush our religious freedom by forcing religious employers to provide contraceptives, abortion drugs, and sterilization coverage in their insurance plans.

To that end, several pro-life/pro-family organizations have banded together to synchronize an email/Facebook/Twitter/blog alert to their people, asking them to contact their members of Congress during a two hour window this morning: from 10a to 12p EST, and to tweet during those same hours.

The message to Congress is to support H.R. 940, the Health Care Conscience Rights Act. As Eric Scheidler of Pro-Life Action League explained to his email list this morning:

The question is: Do Americans still value born life?

Check out this video of John McCain.  Why does he have answer such questions and emphasize the loss of life that has taken place in Benghazi?  Why doesn’t the MSM appreciate the seriousness of what happened?

Video intro, from YouTube: “After being asked whether the Petraeus scandal was a bigger national security threat than the Benghazi consulate attack, John McCain coldly tells a reporter, ‘That’s one of the dumbest questions I’ve ever heard.'”…

“I cried on Obama’s shoulder and he looked off in the distance”

We pro-lifers often say a politician who doesn’t seek to protect human life at its earliest stages cannot be trusted to care about and protect life at later stages.

Last night CNN’s Anderson Cooper interviewed Pat Smith, mother of slain State Dept. official Sean Smith, who was killed in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11 along with Ambassador Chris Stevens and two others during a terrorist attack.
