Paul at first gave a terse answer: “I am not opposed to birth control,” he said.

9/7, 9:20a: Should the United States use force in Syria to stop dictator president Bashar al-Assad from using chemical weapons against his own people, particularly children?

President Obama has made this more than a generalized question on war and death and brought it close to home for anti-abortion Americans by using children as his rationale. Quoting from NBC News:

• Abortion State discusses a lawsuit filed against Planned Parenthood for defrauding taxpayers:
  

  The lawsuit alleges that Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest filed at least 25,000 false claims with HRSA for reimbursements in excess of the amount allowed for oral contraceptive pills and at least another 25,000 for reimbursements in excess of the amount allowed for “emergency contraceptive” (Plan B) pills under the federal government’s 340B drug reimbursement program. Total damages could be as much as $377,134,130.

• My Drop in the Ocean follows up on a previous post regarding the differing approaches of pro-life groups in their public prayer/demonstrations in front of abortion clinics. While some groups pray and practice peaceful outreach, others feel this is ineffective and that the response should be more aggressive since a murder is about to take place.
