• ProLifeBlogs has a Wisconsin Right to Life post on the Obama campaign’s dishonest phone calls to Catholic voters in an attempt to get them to believe Obama doesn’t support abortion and that Planned Parenthood is really about “children get[ting] health care and prenatal care.” After promoting abortion ad nauseum to the American public via the Democratic National Convention, this is incredible. But could it be an indicator that abortion isn’t as winning an issue as they expected?

• In the Weekly Standard, Meghan Clyne discusses the “War on Women” rhetoric:
  

  In the meantime, a perceptive observer may notice a curious thing about this “war on women.” It is based entirely on one set of policies: those pertaining to women’s reproductive systems. By the Democrats’ logic, to oppose abortion on demand and taxpayer-funded contraception is to be “anti-woman.” Womanhood is thus defined by the desire for unrestricted abortion and free birth control; women themselves are reducible to ovaries.

  It was once permissible in American politics to view women as incapable of concerns beyond childbearing — but not in this century. And in addition to insulting women’s intelligence, this approach may well backfire. American women are active, thoughtful citizens; their political concerns are focused on the future of their nation, not the cheapest and easiest way to shut down their reproductive tracts.

• CNN has posted the Republican party’s plank on the sanctity and dignity of human life.
• The Obama campaign really has no shame. They’re attacking Mitt Romney for not wanting to waste his time talking about Representative Akin’s comments and fulfilling the media’s and the Democratic party’s dream of it lasting another week in the news. This attack from a campaign which doesn’t allow reporters to interview campaign surrogates unless they give them veto power over their quotes.

What happens when a corrupt state governor, Kathleen Sebelius (pictured above left), and her hand-picked court system collude to stall a case so long the statute of limitations runs out?

And what happens when that same state governor’s health department shreds evidence in that same case?

And what happens when a prosecutor with nerves of steel is replaced by a prosecutor with nerves of spaghetti?

All three combine for death by a thousand cuts of a rock solid case against Planned Parenthood of Overland Park, Kansas, for committing illegal late-term abortions, failing to report abortions of minors, and falsifying documents.
