Yes, it’s early! But the field is vastly populated with hopefuls, and it’s not too soon for pro-life voices to be heard.

Choices in alpha order are: John Bolton, Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee, Rand Paul, Rick Perry, Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan, Rick Santorum, and Scott Walker.

• Paul Ryan will be the keynote speaker at the SBA List’s dinner in April.
• At National Review, Michael New points out the statistical flaws and faulty assumptions in a recent New York Times op-ed (written by a pro-lifer) on the supposed need for pro-lifers to become more contraceptive- and Title X-friendly.

The came in droves seemingly out of nowhere, standing hours in line to quietly cast their vote for traditional marriage by simply buying a chicken sandwich.

• Judie Brown of American Life League calls out Cardinal Dolan’s hypocrisy in inviting President Obama to the Al Smith Dinner.While Dolan claimed on his own blog that dining with sinners is Christlike and that to disinvite opponents would leave him dining alone, Dolan declined an invitation to offer the opening prayer at a 2009 Pro-Life Wisconsin banquet because Brown (who has publicly castigated bishops) was going to be the keynote speaker:

The one and only vice presidential debate of the 2012 election cycle was held this past week, and I’m sure Joe Biden’s inappropriate behavior has already been added to the list of historical “don’t do’s”…
