Wishy-washy pro-life Republicans “on the losing side of history”

by Kelli Over the past years we social conservatives have heard time and again about abortion being a loser at the polls. Just a few weeks ago a caucus of Quisling women Republicans sold out babies who will be killed by late term abortion. They did this by posturing as some kind of latter-day Machiavellis […]

Two significant pro-life bills introduced during 1st week of new Congress

capitol-sun-575Representative Diane Black just issued a press statement announcing that she, along with Reps. Bill Flores, Jackie Walorski, Chris Smith, Joe Pitts, and over 80 House cosponsors, have reintroduced the Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act,” which would prohibit any organization that provide abortions from receiving Title X Family Planning dollars.

Ray Rice video demonstrates why America should see abortion

The problem with all of this posturing is that the video released by TMZ does not really constitute new - or at least probative - evidence at all…. [W]e know from Rice’s own admission that he struck Palmer in that elevator…. But we humans are weird creatures. It is one thing to know, intellectually, that Ray Rice knocked […]

Eight months pregnant Sudanese Christian shackled, sentenced to death

Meriam Ibraham, Daniel Wani, Martin Wani

While liberals whine about puritanical Christians, there are truly dangerous religions to fear in the real world, particularly radical Islam.

This story is just one more shocking display of its evil depths.

Eight months pregnant Meriam Ibrahim, pictured above with husband Daniel Wani, is being shackled in a Sudanese prison for the crime of being a Christian. Her 20-month-old son Martin, also pictured above, is imprisoned with her.

Obamacare opens unprecedented gateway to illegal invasion of privacy

From UPI, yesterday:

Sure, GOP, listen to Cecile Richards

In his November 8 Crisis Magazine piece, “Romney’s abandonment of social issues contributed to his defeat,” Austin Ruse cites several Republican and Democrat pundits who are calling on the GOP to abandon the abortion issue in the wake of several defeats.

(One of those Ruse quoteds was Michael Walsh, former editor of Breitbart’s Big Journalism, who edited or nixed my pro-life articles to such an extent I finally stopped submitting them. Unbiased source, he.)

Shock, even Cecile Richards, CEO of Planned Parenthood, joined the chorus. “There’s a clear pathway to [win back women’s support], and it’s to listen to the middle of their party instead of the extreme fringe,” Richards told the Huffington Post.

As if President Obama’s bff and Democrat Party spokesperson really wants to send women back to the GOP. No, Richards’ advice has nothing to do with wanting Republicans to back off from defunding or investigating her big abortion biz.

But hey, Republican Party, listen to these pundits and see what you end up with.

Erick Erickson at RedState.com wrote something brilliant, in bold:

What the unthinkable means

I wished to myself when I woke up this morning that we had a prophet like Isaiah to help us understand what is happening.

Then, of course, I realized we do have Isaiah. And we have history. We have the cycle of the Israelites to teach us, and the cycles of great human civilizations.

Ancient cultures like Egypt, Rome, and Greece all eventually collapsed because the people gave themselves over to idolatry and sexual debauchery.

Among followers of the God of the Bible there may be a similar cycle, but there is always a remnant that holds fast to Him, whom He protects and restores.

My thoughts regarding Election Day

I seriously could not have articulated my thoughts regarding Election Day any better than did Erick Erickson of RedState.com. This is exactly what I’m thinking, except for the fact I know I will be quite upset if Barack Obama wins. I’m only human. That said, I know God is in control. I would get over it. I have been disappointed many times only to look back and say, “Ah, I get it, and I sure am glad I’m not the one running things.” Excerpts from Erick’s post…

I believe Mitt Romney will win on election day….

My world view is pretty simple. I think this world is destined to go to hell in a hand basket by design. I think things are supposed to go to pot. So if Barack Obama wins, I won’t be upset. If Mitt Romney wins, I won’t be running through the streets cheering. I think, either way, it is all part of the design. The world is going down hill. Barack Obama re-elected just gets us down the slippery slope faster in my view. For others, it is Mitt Romney who does.
