Abortion industry in crisis: Planned Parenthood seizes control of shrinking turf

Planned Parenthood abortion clinic monopolySince 2010, abortion proponents have acknowledged with increasing frequency and alarm that they think they are starting to lose. Two recent essays reveal new crises they are adding to their growing list:

  • A Culture of Life says another study from India – that makes 12 now, from that nation alone – shows a “very strong link between abortion between abortion and breast cancer:

The average “odds ratio” of developing breast cancer in each of the studies was at least 1. But the average “odds ratio” for all 12 studies came out at 5.54. [Steven] Mosher [of the Population Research Institute] explains that this means a woman has “a 554% increased risk of developing breast cancer” if she has had an induced abortion….Mosher points out that India is a great place to do this sort of study as the women “marry early, do not use the pill, have multiple pregnancies, and breastfeed their babies. In other words, all of the other major risk factors for breast cancer are… absent.”

Abortion clinics to pro-choice counter-protesters: Go away

Grayson Tina Haver pro-abortion signs unwanted

Abortion proponents and news outlets have recently enjoyed publicizing the antics of pro-choice husband and wife “troll” team, Grayson and Tina Haver Currin, who began in March to hold off-putting signs next to those being held by pro-lifers at the A Preferred Women’s Health Center abortion clinic in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The couple’s attempt to make light of murdering babies even made international headlines, like in Denmark

Abortion backers launch “Taco or Beer Challenge,” because ice water is so cold and wet

2014-08-25_1128Around the world, famous and nonfamous people alike are filming themselves dumping or having dumped ice water on their heads in the new fad called the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

The dunkee then pays it forward by challenging others to do the same. Party poopers are supposed to donate $100 to the cause.

Pro-lifers oppose donating to the ALS Association because it supports research of human embryos and aborted fetal cells.

Our opposition has even made national news, which is helpful in bringing attention to ALSA’s deadly research.

Pro-lifers are still enjoying the ice bucket challenge, they just donate to ethical causes. My own pastor took the challenge this weekend, asking people to donate to a clean water initiative in Africa.

But then there are abortion supporters.

Planned Parenthood official resigns over racist statements

390756_284329228286507_1809243706_nAny distrust Women of Color felt toward Planned Parenthood was kept out of the public eye until July 28, when the abortion giant blew any remaining shreds of good will.

It was on that day a story Planned Parenthood shopped to the New York Times was published, within which Planned Parenthood failed to give WOC credit for the concept of “reproductive justice” and submitted names of only white female leaders of the abortion lobby to interview – seven to be exact – but no WOC.

Enter into the fracas Melissa Flourney, pictured right, Louisiana State Director for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast – until August 15, that is, when she was forced to resign.

“Pro-choice” proponents turn on Planned Parenthood

wolves circling planned parenthoodI wrote on August 4 that a July 28 New York Times article about Planned Parenthood’s decision to abandon the term “pro-choice” had triggered a race war within the abortion movement.

This was because Planned Parenthood steered NYT journalist Jackie Calmes to seven white leaders of abortion groups for quotes but no women of color.

Plus, Planned Parenthood gave no credit to WOC groups for expanding on abortion advocacy to include other “reproductive justice” issues, a term WOC coined two decades ago. This July 31 tweet didn’t come out of nowhere…

Pro-life blog buzz 7-29-14

by Susie Allen, host of the blog, Pro-Life in TN, and Kelli A Culture of Life says STDs are showing an increasing resistance to antibiotic treatments: It’s a constant race with the bugs. We develop a new antibiotic, and after a while, we see the first signs of resistance appearing. Then the resistance spreads, until […]

Planned Parenthood captures abortion monopoly in Texas

Planned Parenthood abortion monopoly in TexasUPDATE 7/24, 5:20a: We got great news yesterday, that the abortion rate in Texas has dropped by 13% since November, when the new pro-life law began taking effect. This represents 9,200 babies saved from abortion!

7/23, 7:32a: On September 1 a new pro-life law will take effect in Texas that requires abortion clinics to meet the same standards as ambulatory surgical centers, abortionists to have admitting privileges at hospitals within 30 miles of the clinic, and the abortion pill RU-486 to be dispensed per FDA protocol.

And on that day Planned Parenthood will seize control of the Texas abortion market, since it will at that point own six* of the eight remaining abortion clinics.
