Award-winning filmmaker revisits back alley abortions with screening tour

There’s a whole generation of young women and men who have no idea what the back-alley days were like, what the dangers and casualties were, and how important it is for it to be safe and legal today… We decided to go back to the back alley and tell our stories, because most people have […]

  • Pro-Life Action League links to President Obama’s new campaign ad in which he claims to be a defender of religious liberty. With the next wave of nationwide Stand Up for Religious Freedom rallies coming on October 20, surely he realizes how vulnerable he is on this issue due to his HHS contraceptive mandate. Just after 2:00 in the video, he says he stands “on the side of human dignity and a belief in the inherent worth of all human beings,” yet only applies these statements to “education, poverty, and immigration”:

WashPo confirms but can’t “fathom” Obama’s Born Alive votes

Ohden said that Obama “voted to deny basic Constitutional protections for babies born alive from an abortion.” This is true in the sense that the Illinois bills would have guaranteed certain protections for these infants. But Ohden’s claim lacks context: Obama’s objections to the bill suggest that he wasn’t so much bent on denying rights […]

Karl Rove, fair weather friend

I have received assurances from a source close to him that Karl Rove is pro-life.

Many may have already assumed this, since Rove worked a heartbeat away from the most pro-active pro-life president our country has seen since President Reagan, although those sleeping a heartbeat away from both, Laura Bush and Nancy Reagan, were pro-abortion. So osmosis is no guarantee.

But Rove did speak at the National Right to Life Convention in 2008, which gave him street cred.

That said, at best Karl Rove is a fair weather friend.

Before I get to Todd Akin and Caroline Kennedy, I want to quote from Karen Handel’s book, Planned Bullyhood, scheduled for release tomorrow.

DNC platform supports abortion “regardless of ability to pay”

The Democratic Party strongly and unequivocally supports Roe v. Wade and a woman’s right to make decisions regarding her pregnancy, including a safe and legal abortion, regardless of ability to pay. ~ Revised Democratic Party platform position, which essentially supports taxpayer-funded abortion, via the Weekly Standard, September 4 [HT: Laura Loo]

Democrat, feminist hypocrisy on legitimate rape-rape

Democrats and feminists have mounted a sustained attack against Missouri U.S. Senate candidate Todd Akin for using the term “legitimate” rape, feigning horror at the implication there might be such a thing as “illegitimate” rape.

One liberal of distinction notably missing from the conversation is Whoopi Goldberg, who in 2009 defended director Roman Polanski by claiming his rape of a 13-yr-old in 1977 “wasn’t rape-rape,” she said. ” I think it was something else, but I don’t believe it was rape-rape.”

The conveniently ignored reality today is that just as men can victimize women by rape, women can victimize men by falsely accusing them of rape. It’s as old as the book of Genesis

Andy Moore of AbortionWiki.com made an interesting point in the above graphic, adding in a Facebook post:

Akin’s opposition to rape exception vs. Obama’s support of infanticide

Right now I am in Sioux City, Iowa, preparing to begin a 10 day, 30 city, 6 state bus tour today with the Susan B. Anthony List team.

My entire focus and role on the tour is to expose Barack Obama’s radical support of infanticide as part and parcel of the Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion, as he saw it and said it. As Illinois state senator Obama opposed the Illinois Born Alive Infant Protection Act, designed to give abortion survivors constitutional rights. Obama said giving premature born babies rights would be unconstitutional. Period. That’s what he said. Read page 86 of the senate floor transcript, when Obama was the only senator to speak against Born Alive. Read what Obama said very carefully:
