Planned Parenthood lied: Did NOT tell authorities about New York sex trafficker
After Live Action released its 6th videotape, this one showing both a receptionist and a supervisor at Planned Parenthood The Bronx willing to help a sex trafficker get reproductive health services for his illegal, underage sex slaves, the Associated Press reported:
Planned Parenthood of New York City said the videotape does not accurately portray the agency’s practices and that the incident was reported to law enforcement.
This is false. The January 18 letter PP CEO Cecile Richards wrote to US AG Eric Holder did not list New York as one of the states visited by the alleged sex trafficker:
These incidents occurred at Planned Parenthood health centers in Arizona, Indiana, New Jersey, Virginia, and Washington, D.C….
Furthermore, PP is now alleging the NY tape was “doctored”:
A spokesman for PP… said Tuesday that the videos were “clearly doctored and cannot be trusted.”
“The two health center workers featured in the video said that they did not hear the words ‘sex work’ or ‘sex worker,’ uttered by the actors on camera,” the spokesman, Stuart Schear, said in a statement. “It is clear from the edited tape that there are two or more video sources, as well as an additional audio source, increasing the opportunity for manipulation and selective editing.”
So, either the Bronx PP employees lied to their bosses and did not tell them they’d potentially been stung, or, as PP claims, they did not know they were speaking with a sex trafficker. But if that were true, what was there to report to authorities?
As an aside, PP has falsely accused Live Action for years of “doctoring” or “heavily editing” its tapes. In actuality, Live Action has always turned over the full version of its tapes to authorities, who have never accused Live Action of tampering with them. And really, how long could Live Action sustain such a ruse when giving its tapes to the FBI and DOJ? Isn’t such an accusation really to call Live Action brilliant for the ability to outsmart the feds?
The longer this goes on, the more difficulty PP has keeping its story straight.
This is laughable. PP saying the tapes were doctored without a shred of evidence to support their contention. All we have is their statement. Of course, PP is so used to favored treatment from the MSM they don’t need to show proof. Where’s Geraldo when you need him?

Am I seeing things? Did the lead story just change? What happened with the letter that PP complained about the pimp sting operation – including Indiana – and there was no Live Action Indiana Sting? Can the moderators say what is going on? Just wondering,…

If Lila doctored her tapes and handed them to the FBI, she would be sitting in Federal Prison for the next three decades. The feds don’t take kindly to things like:
Making false statements to federal officials.
Tampering with evidence.
Filing a false report
Perjury
Criminal use of airwaves
etc…

One would think that PP would be THANKING Lila Rose for bringing all of this to their attention!!

Ha ha! Carla, I thought the same thing! Wouldn’t they be saying “Thank you Lila for pointing out our need for more training. This is a good thing because it shows us where we’ve gone wrong” but NOPE… no thanks for Lila Rose!
Thank you Jill for keeping the pressure on. I hope this eventually severs the flow of federal dollars to this evil organization.

Hey Kelsey, I wondered what would happen to the FB “like”‘s. Sorry, got the request from the ppl handling the messaging on this.

PP knows that facts are easily countered by “talking points.” Notice how quickly the mainstream media repeats the accusations of “doctored” tapes, even though no evidence of doctoring is present. (As if Planned Parenthood knew anything about doctoring…!)
PP plans to weather this storm, like they have during previous revelations by LiveAction. They will keep feeding these talking points to their allies in Congress. Their plan is to sustain their taxpayer funding and continue business as usual.
It is fun watching them weasel and squirm… but they are only slightly injured (Gov. Christie’s veto of funding in New Jersey — which was going to happen anyway.)
If you haven’t contacted your congressman yet, you aren’t in the game. It’s easy… go here:

Great point about “talking points”. With their apparent disregard for state reporting laws, PP should change their slogan from “pro-choice” to “It’s OUR choice”. Thanks for the link.

Planned Parenthood will weather the storm, I’m afraid, because the Democratic Senate is a wholly owned subsidiary of the human being killing “industry”.
They can lie and claim the tapes are “doctored”, even though I don’t think they believe they are. All they have to do is say it to sow doubt and confusion. It is not moral and it is dishonest, but the abortionists have never been concerned about morality or honesty. Why start now?
They did the same thing with Bernard Nathanson’s film “The Silent Scream” in 1984. They just went on television and nitpicked it to death. They pointed out minor technical weaknesses and flaws in the video to destroy its credibility and limit its effectiveness.
The abortionists are vicious liars and child killers. There is NOTHING to which they will not stoop to preserve this evil.

“The two health center workers featured in the video said that they did not hear the words ‘sex work’ or ‘sex worker,’ uttered by the actors on camera,” the spokesman, Stuart Schear, said in a statement.
Even if that’s true, it still doesn’t excuse PP. Clearly the PP staffer was aware that ADULTS were seeking assistance to bring in MULTIPLE unrelated underage teens. And PP was willing to coach them. So what if they missed the multiple self-admissions by the actors that it was sex trafficking? The staff SHOULD have been aware of the signs of multiple minors at risk for abuse and made appropriate notifications.
Even if they didn’t suspect sex trafficking, PP staff SHOULD have been aware of the possibility of other types of abuse. For example, if all the girls had been members of one family, and this was a molesting aunt and uncle bringing them in, this kind of behavior by PP staff would still be inexcusable. So whether the workers heard “sex work” or not is irrelevant. There were enough indications in their comments that they SHOULD have been aware of the possibility of enabling SOME type of abuse.

ok – where are the investigative reporters when you need them? Don’t we have any Woodward and Bernstein types any more?
I could not help be be struck by the irony of the Egyptian situation regarding suppression of news and video coverage – Katie Couric on the CBS evening news bemoaned the fact that the state-sponsored Egyptian news refused the video feed of what was going on in their country and roundly condemned the suppression of real-world happenings.
I can not help but be struck that it’s the same here – in free-press? America with the March for Life and the Live Action videos and abortion in general.
Why is there a double standard for what is reported? If they can report the atrocities in the prisons re: Iraqi and Afghan wars – why not this? Why is Pro-Life so scary to them they won’t touch it unless they have to.
As in Egypt – when the regular and little folk actually come out in droves (beyond the yearly March) MAYBE, just MAYBE we will get regular airplay and satisfaction in the Congress and the courts.
Here’s hoping and praying.

Joy, I’m thinking we need to fight them with their own fire: individual, heart-wrenching stories, without statistics. That’s one method they’ve been using for years, such as the recent one Jill posted about a woman who killed her baby in utero to “keep him from suffering.” We need some highly emotional stories about women who’ve suffered from legal abortions or the survivors. Our stories can be true or fictional, but it’s one way (out of many ways) we can fight the emotional war. Despite the fact that more than 70% of rape victims who become pregnant (and those numbers are small; most rape survivors do NOT become pregnant) give birth to their children, the abortionists keep trotting out rape and trying to literally cash in on how emotionally charged the word is. Look what just happened when the idiot Republican’s tried to head them off at the pass with a rape exception. The internet was lousy with cries of “they’re trying to redefine rape!!” It was completely emotional without any facts or rationale.
The movies “Bella” and “Juno” helped our cause but they weren’t emotional enough, and were too easy on the psyche. I’m not suggesting that as our only tactic, but one that we have surely under-utilized. I think films, both short and long, that are fictional can help sway emotions without allowing shrews like Amanda Marcotte to spin them out of control with their so called ‘real facts.’ I’m working on such a story now. At some point in the not-so-distant future, I’ll reveal it, along with my full identity.
Heavily edited, my patootie.

Carla,
I can’t understand the pro-choice blindness when it comes to all those Silentnomore video testimonials! I recall that during the last 40 Days campaign there was a photo of a woman holding her “I regret my abortion” sign, right next to a gal who had a homemades sign about how she was fighting for her “right” to choose then regret. It was sickening. I wish I could remember exactly what was written on it.
I am not at liberty to make one of those true testimonials because it would compromise the privacy of the baby-daddy and members of my family. Maybe someday when people in my life are more at ease with it, but not quite there yet.
I also can’t tell the true story of the assault I survived because the creepo was only locked up for a short time and the last thing I want is for him to start cyberstalking me. The tough thing about true stories is that shrews will come out swinging and besmirching. Having had each experience (assault and abortion), and having listened to hours of the video testimonials, plus all the other one-on-one talks I’ve been having with friends and relatives, I feel that there are many common experiences that women will be able to relate to. For example, I wan’t rendered infertile by the abortion itself, but one of my close relatives was. However, she is emotionally unable to go public about her experience in any way shape or form. She couldn’t even tell me in one sitting. I had to patiently pay attention to those moments she did confide and over time piece it all together. For many women, the trauma of abortion is still unspeakable. It’s so sad.

I understand totally. There are aspects of my story that I am still trying to figure out if I write it. There are people still in my life that it would affect.
I guess I am used to that blindness. Whenever you say I regret my abortion someone will say, “Well I don’t!!”
Mmmm. ok.

I’m beginning to think I can pick out a post-abortive woman by the facial tic or total body freeze when she hears the A word. I also think you can tell how many certain women have had: count her pocket dogs and multiply by 2 if she’s under 35, count her cats and divide by 2 if she’s over 50. oh, I know, that’s so bad. But seriously, it kind of works if you know a woman well enough that she’s told you about it. My boyfriend once joked to me that I was one break-up away from becoming the crazy neighborhood cat lady, and I had to laugh because I privately thought the same thing about myself!!

The heading should read: ” Planned Parenthood allegedly implicated as accomplice in Human Trafficking” – That would get some attention ! The Dems are always so good at making a mole hill out of a mountain when it concerns their scandals. We need more town criers.

ninek,
I do the same thing!! I wonder about women I run into and what their story is and how many abortions they have had!!
Haven’t done anything with the dogs or cats though. :)

As a human, as a man, sades me that PP is just the tip of the iceberg. PP is only the reflection of the enemy’s agenda that slowly as seduce thousands of people into ARROGANCE AND SELFISHNESS!!. A person holding sign ” i Don’t regret my abortion” or the obviously Non-free press, and a Government either Republican or Democrat founding abortions!! Men still trying to use Women as an sexual-object, and even worst women convincing women of “sexual-freedom”!!. and I know that you all can easily can think in many more!!
But TRUE PEOPLE ARE MOVING!!!, Are slowly but strongly moving, with the STRENGTH OF THE TRUTHFUL-ONE!!! , getting together, in a chat-room, on the street, as a family!!! to stand strong and protect the principles of human existence, our future, to protect the needy, the innocent!
watching all this women together standing SO STRONG!! gives me the certainty of a victory!! and makes me wonder: where are the men? what happen to US? , WHAT HAPPEN TO UUS!! in the old days we will fight to protect our women, our children, our future our country!! now are we let our women to fight alone? didn’t our lives started in the whom? was not a woman that cared for you? in and out?
I’m so happy to stand by you all TRUE WOMEN and learn a lot about COURAGE!!
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

PP spokesweasel Stuart Schear would make a great poster boy for Predatory Pedaphiles.
Every time PP trots Schear out to speak on behalf of their ethically bereft enterprise, his quissling presence and wimpy vocals communicate a very different message from the one they intend.
When I hear Schears voice I think of ‘Wormwood’ from C. S. Lewis’ Screwtape Letters’.
