I was trying to find some more information on genocide and went to this site. A pro-life perspective on lifes issues by Diane Dew. In the background you can hear a baby crying. No adult intervention nothing just a baby crying without any help forthcoming.

Which website are you talking about myrtle?
I think people need to realize that if you put your views out there in a public forum, people can come down on them. It doesn’t mean bigotry, it means free exchange of ideas.

Helpful “bonus” info on the Chicago Tribune article, Kelli. Thanks!

We realized it must have been a tape. Still kind of sad though even to tape that a baby had to cry for a long period of time. It’s the site I mentioned in my above post.

Oh ok, ty myrtle. That is really sad, I can’t stand hearing babies cry very long.

How long was the tape? Is it possible that the baby was colicky? Colicky babies are inconsolable for hours a day. I am not sure we should rush to judgement or assume nobody was trying to help the child unless we know the whole story.
Just my opinion, though.

What tape are we talking about? Does this have something to do with one of the points in the post? Confused…

Has nothing to do with the post. I just went to a site and that’s all you could hear was a baby crying. I was concerned that it was happening then but after listening we realized it was probably a tape. I’m not sure why someone would have a tape of a crying baby on any site.

I wasn’t judging when I first posted but for someone to tape a baby crying and allowing the baby to cry without picking him or her up does seem unusual. Go to pro-life site my view on life issues by diane dew. The lady passed away with cancer in 2003.

Myrtle, I went to the place you mentioned, and didn’t hear anything.
You’re welcome, Jill. :)
Re: Albert Mohler’s article – it’s just so true. What do you expect a Baptist pastor to say on Twitter? Things that are anti-Christianity?? Sheesh. I really wonder about some people. :D

Maybe you went to the wrong site. It’s http://www.dianedew.com/aborindx.htm. And then click on A Pro-life perspective by Diane Dew. If you listen closely you can hear him say moma. My son’s PCS worker heard him too.

No, that’s the site I went to, myrtle. I see the page title, “A Pro-Life Perspective,” but no article link by that name.

Sorry you couldn’t find it I’m still not sure why someone would put a recording of a baby crying but they did.
