- Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life explains how a current legislative gap in MN could allow for human cloning at taxpayers’ expense.
- Barbara at Mommy Life points to conservative talk show host Laura Ingraham as an exception to the idea that Catholicism/Christianity should be most compatible with the Democratic Party platform of “provid[ing] for the poor.” Ingraham, a single mother, has 3 adopted children, ages 6, 3, and 13 months.
- Parenting Freedom lists the UK’s most recent numbers on abortions performed for reasons of fetal abnormality. The Pro-Life Alliance battled the British Department of Health for 5 years to make the statistics public.
- The Culture Vulture links to a Wall Street Journal article touting a very early noninvasive prenatal Down syndrome blood test for pregnant women – something of which we should be wary.
- Culture Campaign reports Russia has passed a law requiring health warnings in abortion advertisements. The country’s population dropped by 12 million over 16 years and could be facing a demographic winter.
- The Abstinence Clearinghouse applauds the decision of the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. to return to single sex dorms – a decision made due to the “ethical challenges” of binge drinking and the “hook-up” culture. Amazingly, a George Washington law professor is suing the university for sex discrimination.
- Abortion in Washington has filed a formal complaint with the Washington News Council over a local NPR station’s “false and misleading story” on the Vitae Caring Foundation’s billboards.
