Pro-life teen boot camps 2012
Following the tradition we started last year, we’re posting all the upcoming summer pro-life teen boot camps Kelli could find. If we missed any, please let her know.
If I had teens in the house now I’d not only send them to church camp every summer, I’d send them to at least one pro-life boot camp during their high school years. These provide a great opportunity to build strength and confidence in the sanctity of life and also build lifelong pro-life friendships.
It’s great to see so many pro-life groups in so many states sponsoring these vital training programs for our young people.
California
Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust will host its 2012 ProLife Training Camp in Costa Mesa from June 21 – July 1 for high school and college students.
Indiana
Allen County Right to Life will host its Pro-Life Boot Camp in Fort Wayne on June 22-23 for high school and college students. A great speakers list includes Kristan Hawkins of Students for Life of America, Scott Klusendorf of Life Training Institute, and Seth Drayer of Created Equal.
Kansas
The Archdiocese of Kansas City and Catholic Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph will co-host their 2nd Annual Teen Pro-Life Boot Camp in Overland Park from May 30 – June 2 for ages 14-18.
Louisiana
Pro-Life Louisiana will host its Joshua Leadership Institute this year from July 15-19 for high school students and 1st year college students…

New York State Right to Life will host Camp Esther from August 17-19 in Utica for teens.
Ohio

Texas

Wisconsin
Wisconsin Right to Life will host Camp Esther from July 15-17 and August 5-7, and Camp Nehemiah from July 18-20 and August 8-10 in Walworth and Osceola. These are basic and advanced sessions for teens.
Multi-State
Created Equal will host a Summer Justice Ride through several Midwest cities from July 9-13 for high school and college students. Space is limited, and the deadline to apply was June 8 but I’d still give it a try…

It’s fantastic to see the large variety of Pro-Life camps springing up across the country. The anti-Abortion Pro-Life organization in Denton, Tx – Life Dynamics, has produced an extremely powerful film that details the dark history of abortion in America, and its deep roots in early American Eugenics. This explosive documentary would add value to any Pro-Life training program out there, including these Pro-Life Summer Camps! Visit http://www.maafa21.com to see the film online in HD. To get special pricing for bulk purchases for your camps or training programs, contact Leroy DODD with Life Dynamics by phone 940.380.8800 or via email at leroy@lifedynamics.com

Does it not worry you people that you have to send children to “boot camp” to indoctrinate them in order to make them adhere to your extremist beliefs? Just wondering…

“Have to”? I never went to one. But we’re not as weird as we look, and you guys do it too…

Why would it worry us to send children who are passionate about protecting innocent life to learn more about how to effectively do so??
Guess I should just sit back, paint my nails and watch Jersey Shore while I let Planned Parenthood indoctrinate my kids on how to properly satisfy their sexual partners instead. Because that is just super-awesome parenting.
If “you people” have children whom you allowed to live, I fear for them. Truly.

I’m going to training camp again this year for the third year in a row! I love it!

@Anonymous: At least for me, it was the opposite. My parents were pro-life, but not too into it. I got involved in the pro-life movement (through a friend) and decided that I was going to camp. My parents were not so sure about it (I had never been away from home for that long), but I was determined and they agreed I could go. This will be my third summer going. I’m still more involved than my parents, but they’re really supportive, so it’s great. :)

Oh, and by the way – these aren’t exactly “little” kids. These are teenagers. You know, the same ones that Planned Parenthood “educates” and believes are old enough to handle having abortions alllll by themselves with no parental interference? Extremist much?
‘Scuse me while I wipe your idiocy off the floor.

The idea of training in a boot camp style has not so much to do with extremism but everything to do with getting intensive training and practice for meeting and responding to all types of situations that our pro-life kids come in contact with … including your hit-and run type, Anonymous poster.
