I’m puzzled by the Horsey cartoon. In this one, he almost seems to be taking an anti-ESCR stance, but in the past he’s been a typically pro-ESCR cartoonist, accusing the right of trying to save “the poor, innocent stem cells.”

He seems pro-ESCR by the fact that he sees the newborn as “another waste of perfectly useful stem cells” that could have been used for research. That’s how I’m reading it…
No, no, no. By having a grumpy old man say such a ridiculous thing it’s obvious the cartoonist is against the use of embryonic stem cells.
