(Not so) pro-life vid of the day: “Hook-up” truck for hire in Bay area

by Hans Johnson

Perfomance artist Spy Emerson is using one “art project” to finance another. It’s a sparsely-fitted truck with little more than mirrors, birth control, and an optional camera to rent out for sexual encounters in the San Francisco Bay area. Here is a report from KPIX:

Members of the Oakland community have their concerns.

Politico poll: 80% of voters in competitive states want abortion restricted

Pro-life baby on American flagAs is customary for a mainstream media outlet, Politico spun the results of its new poll question on abortion pretty much 180 degrees:

When it comes to abortion rights, however, midterm voters are more aligned with Democrats than with Republicans: 54 percent say they support the right to an abortion either with no restrictions (19 percent) or some restrictions (35 percent).

Forty-five percent said there should be either a near-total abortion ban with some exceptions (34 percent) or a total ban on the procedure (11 percent).

Without looking at the numbers, a pro-lifer’s heart might sink by that news. But indeed, check out those numbers:

Politico poll results show 80% voters want abortion restricted

In actuality, pro-life Republicans have the backing of 80% of Americans who vote (i.e., who matter), 35% of whom support such common sense and compassionate measures as parental notification and a 20-week abortion ban, both of which Democrats largely oppose.

Another 34% of likely voters would take that a big step further and support “[a] nearly total ban on abortion,” and 11% would support making abortion illegal, period.

So Democrats have the support of only 19% of likely voters.

Furthermore, 70% of voters think abortion is an important issue in choosing a candidate to support, which also bodes poorly for Democrats.

Shame on Politico for such an overt display of bias.

Clinic escort: Abortion is “about my fundamental right to life”

klabusichby Kelli

I think we have to retake the morality of the issue, back from the right-wing….

The abortion rate doesn’t go down when you make it illegal, women just die…. I don’t apologize when I say it, It [abortion] should be a part of basic healthcare.

We have to take back the morality of the issue, the idea that it isn’t just about my controlling my body but it’s really just about my fundamental right to life, and the same options as everyone around me.

Planned Parenthood didn’t report 911 call to state because hemorrhaging “not unusual”

ambulance091609Planned Parenthood Keystone had a novel excuse for failing to report the ambulance transfer of a patient to the Pennsylvania  Department of Health, as required by law.

When DOH inspected Planned Parenthood Keystone’s Allentown abortion clinic on February 27, 2014, it was surprised to learn a patient had begun hemorrhaging after her abortion on March 15, 2013, and taken to the hospital by ambulance.

This was a surprising because DOH is supposed to get a report from any medical facility within 24 hours after such an occurrence, and it didn’t in this case.

Planned Parenthood’s excuse?

Its Patient Safety Officer and Associate Medical Director “determined that this event did not constitute a serious event or incident…. Abnormal bleeding after a surgical abortion is not unusual nor is it unanticipated,” quoting from the report.

The chart stated “the patient began with excessive bleeding with noticeable large clots” after not one but two suction abortions, because ”no products of conception were found” either time.

The bleeding continued even after the injection of a clotting medication (Methergine), which is when Planned Parenthood called 911.

If DOH didn’t realize Planned Parenthood’s misinterpretation of the law until this year, how many other botched abortions has Planned Parenthood Keystone covered up, not just in Allentown but others?

So Planned Parenthood’s standard of care is such that large clots and hemorrhaging are expected normal outcomes of a first trimester abortion?

Oh, and DOH’s deficiency report also found that Planned Parenthood violated HIPAA privacy laws by leaving patient files with names on them out in the open.

Photos: Kermit Gosnell’s clinic today

Gosnell clinic - inside front door trashI expect many pro-lifers are being drawn to pray at serial killer Kermit Gosnell’s abortion clinic if in the Philadelphia area, as my husband and I were over the weekend.

It is a macabre, ghostly place. Shocking to me was the clinic appears from the outside to have been left virtually untouched since the FBI raided it on February 18, 2010, over four years ago.

Also shocking was that life appears to go on unchanged around the building. 20140518_150655

As I stood there, cars whizzed by and people strolled past chatting and laughing.

I don’t know what I expected, but I found it surreal that 3801 Lancaster isn’t being respected and protected more as a grim historical site, where the most prolific serial killer in U.S. history committed his crimes.

Tens of thousands of babies were murdered by abortion inside those walls over the course of four decades – an untold number after delivery by having their spinal cords “snipped.”

But there is no yellow tape marking the building as a horrific crime scene, or a sign denoting it as the final resting place of so many victims, whose bodies were ground up in a garbage disposal.

In a sane world plans would already be underway to denote this place as a grim national landmark – although I realize the world is insane. It would also be an apt site for an abortion holocaust museum.

I had trouble settling down to pray. My spirit was greatly disturbed. The place felt quietly demonic, as if the killing might have stopped, but evil spirits still lurked about.

But at the same time it felt like a shrine, with thousands of angelic spirits there as well, quietly demanding justice.

The experience was probably similar to visiting the Jewish death camps, I suppose.

Pro-life vid of day: Abortionist verbally attacks elderly pro-lifer

by Kelli

Live Action News shares video of an altercation that took place just over a week ago in front of Planned Parenthood Orange Health Center in Southern California:

The event was captured on video and shows an angry abortionist threatening an older pro-life gentlemen who is peacefully demonstrating on the sidewalk. The demonstrator is holding a rosary and literature when the abortionist walks over from his car, totally enraged. The abortionist threatens to “sock [the man] in the f***ing face” and closes by stating that his [sic] is providing a service and is not a “baby killer.”

Actor Jim Caviezel: “Sin of abortion” can be forgiven

Jim Caviezel - God forgives abortionby Carder

You don’t have to die to experience Heaven… but when you’ve committed a sin, any of the 10 commandments, or the sin of abortion, or contributed to it, let me be very clear. Did you go to one of your friends and ask your friend, “Hear my story?'” And s/he said, “Yes.” I went to this one person and asked, “Why do you go to this one person?” S/he answered, “Because they didn’t judge me. They loved me and I felt mercy and grace.”

Do you think that your God doesn’t have more mercy and grace than your friend? Do you think your friend has more grace than God?…. Does your friend have more love than the Creator? It can never be. It can never be. So – God forgives you and now He needs you to begin again, to accept forgiveness.
