Intel: Liberals plan anti-Mormon lit drop at mega-churches weekend before election

I was on a conference call yesterday regarding intelligence gathered from a highly placed source that liberal Obama surrogates are planning to target Evangelical mega-church parking lots with bigoted anti-Mormon flyers the final weekend before the election in key battleground states like Ohio, Iowa, and Wisconsin.

Mega-church pastors are being notified to have parking lot attendants be on the lookout for such a lit drop. But please forward this post to all pastors of both Protestant and Catholic churches, particularly in battleground states.

It may surprise you to learn that most of anti-Mormonism is on the LEFT, not the Right. From The American Spectator, April 18:

Life in the debate: Obama “inaudible”

Everyone’s talking about the presidential debate this morning, so I thought I’d open up the conversation here.

I loved this photo on RedState.com., taken afterward. Click to enlarge…

Here are close-ups of the facial expressions, lol. Click both photos to enlarge…

There wasn’t much said on the life issue last night, although President Obama did make a strange comparison between Wall Street reform and living wills:

Mega-church pastor: Evangelicals warming to Romney for 3 big reasons

I had no reason to think that evangelicals would be any more enthused about Mitt Romney than they were about John McCain. But over the last 11 months three developments have changed my mind about Romney’s appeal to evangelical voters. First, many evangelical Christians are incensed by the Obama administration’s relentless assaults on religious freedom…. […]

Stanek weekend question: Thoughts on oil painting depicting Obama’s anti-life agenda?

On August 31 artist Jon McNaughton debuted an “interactive painting he has created with 60 symbols that detail the ‘Obamanation’ of the Barack Obama Presidency,” according to Fox News.

One of the most fascinating aspects of the painting is you can scroll over it on McNaughton’s website for detailed explanations of all the symbols. Three depict Obama pushing his anti-life agenda. Click to enlarge…

  • Yesterday, although a simple majority of the House (220Y-154N-2P-55A) voted in favor of the D. C. Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, it still failed to pass, since 2/3 majority was needed under suspension of the rules. In National Review Online, Professor Michael New explains why calling for the vote was “shrewd politics and shrewd policy for the pro-life movement.”

  • Virginia’s attorney general Ken Cuccinelli has refused to agree to a Board of Health plan which would allow abortion clinics to avoid meeting new abortion clinic regulations:

In a four-sentence letter to the health department, senior assistant Attorney General Allyson K. Tysinger said that the the office would not certify the regulations.

“The Board does not have the statutory authority to adopt these Regulations,” it says. “[T]he Board has exceeded its authority. Thus, this Office cannot certify these Regulations.”

The action by the attorney general’s office is not the final word on the subject. The regulations, which would require extensive renovations, will continue to go through executive branch review. The attorney general’s office was only the first step in that process.

Campbell Brown in NYT: “Planned Parenthood’s self-destructive behavior”

Former NBC and CNN news anchor Campbell Brown penned a New York Times op ed over the weekend entitled, “Planned Parenthood’s self-destructive behavior.”

With such a favorable title, pro-lifers might be tempted to glam on to Brown as one of us. Not so fast.

Before lodging her complaint against Planned Parenthood, Campbell first gave it kudos. She promoted the United States’ largest abortion provider as really not being about that, stating, “Most of Planned Parenthood’s work focuses on health care for low-income women, things like screenings for breast cancer and diabetes, and family planning.”

To back up that claim Campbell parroted Planned Parenthood’s line that “abortions represent only 3 percent of its work,” when in actuality about 10% of Planned Parenthood clients get abortions, according to FactCheck.org, and 38.4% of its clinic income comes from abortion, according to Live Action.

Campbell also acknowledged in her piece she is pro-abortion.

So what was her gist? That Planned Parenthood has morphed into an arm of the Democrat Party, to its detriment:

Welcome to the 4th annual 20 Hottest Conservative Women in the New Media… Do keep in mind that this list only covers women in the new media.
