Abortion proponents declare “state of emergency” on vanishing access

A March 6 New York Times article, “Abortion law pushes Texas clinics to close doors,” included a slide show, “Last day for last abortion clinic in the Rio Grande,” referring to one of two Texas abortion mills that closed that day. Above and below are a few of those pictures. Click all photos and graphics to enlarge…

BREAKING: Australian TV personality commits suicide after depression triggered by abortion

This is such a tragedy. And abortion proponents share the blame. They, of course, push for easy access to abortion, deemphasizing its after-affects to the point they absolutely refuse to acknowledge post-abortion depression, which further incapacitates those actually living through it.

Charlotte Dawson, RIP, was born in New Zealand but achieved fame in Australia as a model and a judge on Australia’s Next Top Model.

Phenomenal Mother Jones graphic on those “creeping” pro-life laws

Here’s a nice graphic posted at Mother Jones today:

It correlates with Guttmacher’s January 2 report indicating that “more state abortion restrictions were enacted in 2011-2013 than in the entire previous decade”…

Guttmacher rep: Abortion restrictions “eroding women’s rights”

by Kelli They aren’t scraping the bottom of the barrel yet…. There are numerous restrictions that can still be enacted in states, despite the fact that so many have become law over the past three years. And they’re becoming more burdensome than we’ve seen before, eroding women’s rights by targeting abortion providers and shutting down […]

Abortion supporters alarmed by surge in abortion clinic closings

5565823140_57abf43cc4_z

The growing number of abortion clinic closures in recent years has apparently reached critical mass. Liberals and the mainstream media are taking notice with alarm.

And either the clinics are closing at such a fast pace abortion supporters can’t keep up, or there have been so many they can’t count them all.

Either way, They can’t get the numbers straight. And it’s all good.

Think Progress, August 26:

Stanek weekend question: Should the U.S. bomb Syria?

Mideast Syria

UPDATE 9/8, 5a: Should’ve thought of this yesterday. Have added a poll asking the weekend question at the bottom of the post.

9/7, 9:20a: Should the United States use force in Syria to stop dictator president Bashar al-Assad from using chemical weapons against his own people, particularly children?

President Obama has made this more than a generalized question on war and death and brought it close to home for anti-abortion Americans by using children as his rationale. Quoting from NBC News:

  • Right to Life of Michigan says abortion advocates like to portray their views as mainstream, but they aren’t – not even among women:

According to the 2013 Gallup poll on abortion, 57% of women believe abortion should be illegal or legal in only a few circumstances, along with 59% of men.

Only 28% of women agree with abortion advocates that abortion should be legal in every circumstance.
