Does Carhart have a friend on the inside?

a470b078-5ece-4f99-8bca-4830b5722440On February 7, 29-yr-old Jennifer Morbelli, pictured right, died at a Maryland hospital the morning after LeRoy Carhart completed the abortion of her 33-wk-old baby in the Germantown, Maryland, mill at which he worked.

Ironically, the day before Morbelli died the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene issued licenses to all 17 abortion clinics in the state without ever having inspected them, even though abortion clinic regulations had been enacted in November 2012.

Stanek weekend question: Your thoughts on the “right to privacy”?

imageI’m no constitutional scholar, but I’m told the “right to privacy” was invented to provide a foundation for the “right to abortion.”

But privacy appears to be a “right” only when convenient for liberals.

While the Left calls Bradley Manning a “hero” for releasing classified military information, and likewise calls Julian Assange, founder of Wikileaks, “a flawed-hero figure fearlessly committed to the freedom of information” – “flawed” only because two women with “questionable motivations” have accused him of rape, the Left draws the line when the right to abortion privacy is breached.

  • In India, an abortionist and others have been sentenced to jail time for the 2003 death of a woman due to an illegal late-term abortion.
  • Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains has issued a press release, which is basically a “no-comment,” in response to Ayanna Byer’s lawsuit against them for forced abortion.:

Apart from these legal requirements, Planned Parenthood has long maintained its own high standard for protecting the privacy and confidentiality of each of our patients. Thus, we cannot comment on the care we provide to any particular patient, or confirm that any individual has sought our care.“Nothing is more important to us than the safety and well-being of the patients we serve.”

Medical Examiner clarifies “fetal anomalies” not a cause of Carhart patient’s death

2013-02-25_0930

I spoke and corresponded by email with Maryland Medical Examiner spokesperson Bruce Goldfarb on February 22 and 23 to get clarification on puzzling statements ascribed to him by two news organizations last week regarding the February 7 death of Jennifer Morbelli, a patient of late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart

Stanek wkend question: How will the landscape change when we see our 1st abortion-free state?

The last standing abortion clinic in Mississippi, Jackson Women’s Health Organization, pictured above, may be forced to close next month, thanks to a commonsense new law requiring abortionists to have admitting privileges at local hospitals.

Carhart’s so-called late-term abortion “fact” sheet

2013 Sundance Portrait - After TillerIn July 2012 an abortion-minded mother who was 27 weeks pregnant changed her mind and gave sidewalk counselors praying and offering help outside LeRoy Carhart’s (pictured right) Germantown, Maryland, abortion clinic all the paperwork he had given her.

The paperwork included “Facts about Induction Procedure (22 weeks and up).”

Abortion proponents oppose any attempts by legislatures to ensure abortionists provide informed consent. For instance, Guttmacher Institute thinks the needs of pregnant mothers are too “complex” to address in a written document:

Carhart patient’s cause of death: Him

2013-02-21_1152

From lohud.com yesterday:

A New Rochelle woman died of complications from a late-term abortion at a Maryland clinic, authorities confirmed Wednesday.

Jennifer Morbelli, 29, a schoolteacher in White Plains, bled to death after amniotic fluid in her womb spilled into her bloodstream, said Bruce Goldfarb, a spokesman for the Montgomery County Medical Examiner’s Office.

She was “left with the inability to clot blood to stop bleeding,” Goldfarb said.
