The show’s Facebook page announces one of the high school girls “doesn’t regret having had sex, she just wished she would have used birth control.”

Here were my top five favorite cartoons this week, beginning with a bittersweet Mother’s Day tribute to one of the Cleveland hostages’ moms, who passed away before knowing her daughter was alive. But Amanda Berry is indeed alive and now has her own daughter, Jocelyn, the clearly much loved child of her rapist. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite cartoon in the poll at the bottom of this post.

I haven’t been this offended by a liberal cartoon in a long time. But Steve Benson at GoComics.com has disgusted me, managing to tie abortion, contraceptive coverage(?!), and “no respect for rape victims” to a horrific story where one of three kidnap victims was beaten and starved until she miscarried five times. She certainly was given no “choice.” It is for this reason her captor may get the death penalty. But to abortion proponents, no story is unrelated to their sick blood lust…

One round of emergency contraceptives contains four to 12 times the dosage of a birth control pill.
The long-term effects of emergency contraception on the bodies of girls and women are as yet unknown.
At present we do know the Pill is composed of synthetic female steroids that are environmentally toxic, increase the risk of breast cancer, alter phermones, kill libido, and cause depression, anxiety, and mood disturbances.

Yesterday The New York Times posted the article, “Abortion qualms on the morning-after pill may be unfounded.”
Before quoting the NYT piece let me make clear it makes no such claim about hormonal birth control pills, only Plan B, advertised to be taken up to three days after unprotected sex, and Ella, advertised to be taken up to five days after unprotected sex.
In a nutshell:
