Pro-life blog buzz 5-1-15

pro-lifeby Susie Allen, host of the blog, Pro-Life in TN, and Kelli

  • ProLifeBlogs links to a CNS News report about pro-abortion Hillary Clinton’s recent speech in which she claimed every life matters. Clinton was, of course, not speaking about the preborn. (After all, she “told the audience at the sixth annual Women in The World Summit last week that ‘religious beliefs’ must be changed for the sake of abortion.”) No, she was speaking about cases in which Black men have been killed by police officers. Clinton is a good example of the compartmentalization of abortion proponents. Perhaps if preborn babies could vote or donate to political campaigns, they could warrant some consideration from her.

Measles outbreak draws attention to aborted fetal cells in vaccines

jenny-mccarthy-vaccines-the-view_69447_990x742The issue of childhood vaccinations provides a rare meeting place for liberals and conservatives.

There is no shortage of progressives like Robert Kennedy, Jr. who champion the anti-vaccination movement.

But there is also a contingent of conservatives who oppose it as well. As noted by Vox:

They are by no means guided by a singular ideology. They may be the vaccine-hesistant Amish, vaccine-refusing Christian Scientists, Jenny McCarthy acolytes, granola crunchers who don’t want to put “unnatural” things in their kids’ bodies, or simply worried parents who delay immunizing their children.

And there are also pro-lifers.

Until now pro-life opposition to vaccinations hasn’t gotten much airplay.

Journal of Public Health publishes study linking autism to vaccines made with aborted fetal cells

study linking autism to vaccines made with aborted fetal cells

I’ve written previously (here and here) about the possible connection between autism and vaccines made with aborted fetal cells.

Now, the September issue of the prestigious Journal of Public Health and Epidemiology has published a study conducted by scientists at Sound Choice Pharmaceutical Institute that shows an spike in autism in country after country where vaccines using fetal cells from aborted babies have been introduced.

by JivinJ, host of the blog, JivinJehoshaphat Wesley Smith notes a recent Journal of Medical Ethics article in which the authors argue that infanticide should be legal and label killing newborns “after-birth abortion.” Overheard: An Abortioneer describes her own clinic – and it doesn’t sound that nice: I think some clinics have entire abortion appointments […]

Duke of Kent’s son: Abortion a worse threat than al-Qaeda

First, just who is Lord Nicholas Windsor (pictured above with wife Paola), the Duke of Kent’s son? Before I get to the excellent op ed he has written, I think it will help Americans to know his pedigree. The bio from his First Things op ed, December 1: Lord Nicholas Windsor studied theology at Oxford […]

New Stanek WND.com column, “On the path to over-the-counter abortions”

On June 17, the FDA’s Advisory Committee for Reproductive Health will hold a public hearing to begin the approval process of a new abortion pill, Ulipristal acetate, to be marketed by the brand names ella® or ellaOne®. ellaOne can be taken up to 5 days after unprotected sex, as opposed to emergency contraception, which can […]
