Breaking: Battleground bus tour will expose Obama’s radical support of abortion, infanticide

To this day, even when speaking to pro-lifers, I still so often hear, “I didn’t know Obama was that bad on abortion!” when I tell about my experience with him as state senator and his opposition to the Illinois Born Alive Infant Protection Act. Students for Life of America found in a recent poll of young Americans that his support sank by 43% among undecided voters when they learned of his radical support of infanticide.

The Susan B. Anthony List is going to spotlight exactly that during a 10-day battleground state bus tour beginning August 20, and I’m thrilled to have been invited along for the ride.

Press release…

Libs and cons both hypocritical on abortion clinic regulations?

When any other industry is being discussed, most liberals believe the correct level of regulation, always, is: more. … [Media] sensibilities have given us a seemingly endless train of special investigative series aimed at demonstrating how dangerously under-regulated we are…. [T]hanks to [Virginia’s] new clinic rules, progressives are discovering regulations really do cost real people […]

  • Virginia’s attorney general Ken Cuccinelli has refused to agree to a Board of Health plan which would allow abortion clinics to avoid meeting new abortion clinic regulations:

In a four-sentence letter to the health department, senior assistant Attorney General Allyson K. Tysinger said that the the office would not certify the regulations.

“The Board does not have the statutory authority to adopt these Regulations,” it says. “[T]he Board has exceeded its authority. Thus, this Office cannot certify these Regulations.”

The action by the attorney general’s office is not the final word on the subject. The regulations, which would require extensive renovations, will continue to go through executive branch review. The attorney general’s office was only the first step in that process.

  • Live Action notes yet another scandal in the abortion industry – this time from the UK’s National Health Service:

Breaking news from England has found… doctors caught forging abortion consent forms – before they ever even saw any patients. When investigators mounted a series of raids on abortion clinics, they found doctors routinely pre-signing consent forms, with nurses filling in the patient information later….

All in all, 14 hospitals have been censured due to these illegal abortions.

What does this tell us about the attitude of the abortion industry? Both in the U.K. and here in the United States, there is an overwhelming prevalence of extreme disregard for the law. The abortion industry will blatantly break the law time and time again in order to profit off their gruesome business.

  • Big Blue Wave shines a light on the “French partial birth abortion” method, found in a document released by the French College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists:

It consists of birthing a baby until the head and upper body is out and then committing feticide by injecting the umbilical cord with a lethal agent such as potassium chloride. This must occur before the first breath, so technically, it could even occur after complete expulsion.

“Vote Pro-Life” mobile billboard campaign to roll into battleground states

Created Equal has identified nine election year battleground states and plans, in conjunction with Operation Rescue, to launch a voter education Truth Truck tour utilizing huge mobile billboards showing images of aborted babies in at least seven of those states: Florida, Iowa, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Colorado and Nevada will be added as funding permits.

(Interestingly, Politico listed the underlined states in its piece today, “Obama’s seven states of gay marriage grief.”)

Created Equal’s 2012 “Vote Pro-Life” mobile billboard project will launch this month and run through Election Day:

Stanek weekend question: Is it time to change pro-life tactics?

UPDATE 5/6, 6a: Dustin has emailed me a link to a clarification he wrote of his original post, here.

5/5, 11:53: Dustin Siggins, associate producer with The Laura Ingraham Show and co-author of a forthcoming book about the national debt, authored a piece that piqued my interest in CrisisMagazine.com on May 1, “Time to change pro-life tactics?”

I usually don’t post my opinion when asking weekend questions but frankly, Siggins’ op ed ticked me off, and I can’t contain myself.
