(Not so) pro-life vid of day: Steinem, Aniston talk procreation

by LauraLoo Jennifer Aniston shared a few moments of camaraderie when interviewing long-time pro-abortion feminist Gloria Steinem at the February 10 Makers Conference in Ranchos Palos Verdes, CA. The Huffington Post recapped: Jennifer stated to Gloria, “The public has a great interest in our personal lives. I know you’ve come up against this – and […]

Killing puppies “horrific,” killing late-term babies “heroic”

JODI-HEADSHOT-8-19-11-_100Jodi Jacobson is editor-in-chief of RH Reality Check, a pro-abortion website dedicated “to safeguard…  sexual and reproductive health and rights against false attacks and misinformation.”

Jacobson has stated it is “profoundly disrespectful” to oppose late-term abortions, which she defines as “at or after 24 weeks or in the third trimester.”

Jacobson has described those who kill babies in the third trimester as “committed, ethical, moral medical professional[s].” She said pro-lifers were “lunatics” to call late-term abortionist George Tiller a “mass murderer” – himself a subsequent victim of murder. Rather, Jacobson maintained, Tiller was a “heroic, kind, compassionate, professional.”

  • Big Blue Wave describes how use of the NuvaRing contraceptive seriously impaired the health of US Olympic hopeful Megan Henry (pictured left), a skeleton skater, who spent ten days in the hospital suffering from life-threatening blood clots (pulmonary embolism). This sidelined her training and dashed her hopes of qualifying for the Olympics.
  • Clinic Quotes says a descendant of Margaret Sanger is continuing her legacy for “reproductive freedom”:

Alexander Sanger, abortion advocate and descendent of Planned Parenthood founder and controversial figure Margaret Sanger, said the following:
“Reproductive freedom is vital to humanity. It is even more vital than all the other freedoms that we cherish – freedom of religion, freedom of thought and speech, and the freedom to live our lives as we see fit. Humanity has these freedoms, or should have them, because they add to human happiness and make for a better world. So does reproductive freedom.”

Really? Even more important than freedom of thought is the freedom to kill one’s children before birth? Remind me again… which side is extreme?

Pro-life video of the day: Abortion images “change how they feel”

by Hans Johnson At the 2014 Students for Life of America Conference, Stephanie Gray of the Canadian Centre For Bio-Ethical Reform spoke. (You can see the entire talk here.) In this excerpt, she argues for the necessity of using graphic photos to change some minds in order to stand up to atrocities like abortion: […]

“House of Cards” episode features photos of abortion victims

House_of_Cards_Season_1_PosterI’m suddenly hearing and reading about the television series, House of Cards, everywhere.

The show’s backdrop, quoting Wikipedia:

Set in present-day Washington, D.C., House of Cards is the story of Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey), a Democrat from South Carolina… and House Majority Whip who, after getting passed over for appointment as Secretary of State, decides to exact his revenge on those who betrayed him. The series also stars Robin Wright….

House of Cards is produced by Netflix, which releases an entire season all at once for viewing via its livestream service. Netflix dumped all 13 episodes of season two on February 14. This season Underwood has been appointed vice president.

Clinic aborts mainly black babies but escort says pro-lifers racist

by Kelli [Protestors] literally just go up to every car that comes up the street. They automatically assume that every African American driver is coming to the clinic…. They say some of the most disgusting, degrading and racist comments to them about killing the dream, killing the next Barack Obama, the next Martin Luther King. […]

Pro-life video of the day: Cohabitation increases divorce odds by 50%

by LauraLoo A recent In the Market with Janet Parshall discussed studies that show  cohabitation before marriage increases a couple’s odds of divorce by 50%.  Mike McManus of Marriage Savers also examined this growing trend. Have you ever cohabitated?  If so, did it end in marriage – or did the relationship end? If you married after cohabiting  did […]
