Pro-life blog buzz 2-8-13

  • Our newest blog, Clinic Quotes, shows the anti-adoption mentality of the abortion industry from a pamphlet distributed by Rocky Mountain Planned Parenthood in 1985, which reads:

But aren’t there alternatives to abortion? Yes, there are. A pregnant women can carry the baby to term and she can then keep it or relinquish the baby for adoption. Relinquishment is often not a very humane procedure.

Stanek weekend question II: Do you agree no one who worships the God of Abraham could possibly have voted for Obama?

Louie Verrecchio is one of Catholic News Agency’s longest running columnists. He wrote an oped this week, reposted by American Life League, that contained several strong statements and one profound one, underlined. Verrecchio was writing to Catholics but Protestants could certainly be included in much of his denouncement.

Aborted babies represented at Obama inauguration

UDPATE: 1/22, 8:40a: Created Equal has posted several photos on Facebook of its outreach protest at President Obama’s inauguration yesterday. His motorcade had to pass the group twice. We pray the photos of the reality of abortion got through and pierced his soul – somehow, some way. Here are two of the best photos. Click to enlarge…

UDPATE: 1/21, 12:35p: Created Equal’s protest is positioned on Pennsylvania Avenue in front of the Navy Memorial. The presidential motorcade passed the group on its way to the Inauguration at the Capitol Building and will pass it again when returning to the White House.

1/21, 12:10p: I was just sent this picture from Mark Harrington of Created Equal.

Thanks to Mark’s team for standing in the gap for babies slaughtered by abortion, and for disallowing President Obama and his followers to forget what they support, even on Inauguration Day.

Priest calls on pro-lifers to expose Obama-supporting Catholic groups at March for Life

Sr. Carol KeehanI want everyone who participates in the March For Life to take photos of the pro-unborn banners carried by the contingents from the National Catholic Reporter… from the LCWR [Leadership Conference of Women Religious]… from the Catholic Health Association… from the Nuns on the Bus.

~ Father John Zuhlsdorf, encouraging participants of the upcoming March for Life to capture on film any banners displayed by groups who have staunchly supported President Obama’s agenda and would dare to claim to be pro-life, January 11

Creative Minority Report suggests banner slogans for Sr. Keehan:

Wanted, dead or alive: Children for Obama to use as political pawns

It gets redundant pointing out President Obama’s hypocrisy when it comes to his concern for children.

Yesterday, in the wake of the Newtown massacre, Obama used four children as props to sign 23 executive orders to theoretically curb gun violence….

In signing his EOs Obama stated:

This is our first task as a society, keeping our children safe. This is how we will be judged…. [W]hen it comes to protecting the most vulnerable among us, we must act now . . . .

Meanwhile, the National Rifle Association is being criticized for a new ad pointing out the hypocrisy of Obama and Washington elitists when it comes to protecting their own children as opposed to ours…

New Stanek poll: Are you willing to commit acts of civil disobedience?

Poll 2.pngMy new poll question comes via Priests for Life:

Are you willing to commit acts of civil disobedience in response to unjust laws?

We already know the Obama administration is trying to force those opposed to abortion based on their religious beliefs to buckle and fund it. The Christian owners of Hobby Lobby have already answered the poll question in the affirmative. Where do you stand?

Last week’s question was:

Get real: Obama and the nation sanction the killing of all school children

… just a few years before they get there.

BTW, I would add “BEFORE, DURING, & AFTER THEIR BIRTH” to the sign, although there wouldn’t have been enough room, I suppose.

Nevertheless, Abolish Human Abortion’s point on the hypocrisy of our nation and our president is irrefutable.
