41 years ago, Nurse Wanda‘s dad walked out on her family shortly after she was born. But amazingly, God joined their two paths when her dad became terminally ill and was admitted to the hospital where she works:

Jill Stanek is a nurse turned speaker, columnist and blogger, a national figure in the effort to protect both preborn and postborn innocent human life.
That’s some story. And it shows that we’re not the same person we were many years ago, though we may think and feel that we are. We live a succession of lives over a lifetime.
Thank God that no matter what reasons there were for that fork in the road that split them apart, they ended up in the same place again Forgiveness is such a powerful thing!

God’s timing is amazing. The father was truly granted a gift from Heaven. His daughter is truly an angel of mercy.
WOW!! I cried as I watched this story. What an awesome gift they were both given. She to find her dad to get some closure before he dies and him to find such a wonderful, forgiving daughter. God is so good. She will receive many blessings even after her dad is gone because of her forgiving heart. Her children will be blessed by this too. She is so right “you cannot change the past”. May God bless this family.
