Pro-lifers look beyond abortion clinic buffer zones to bubble zones, buffered homes

We are trying to get the WHOLE 11th circuit to review the case and then we will go tothe U.S. Supreme Court with it after that. It's never likely that SCOTUS will hear a case, but this one might just grab their attention. http://billingsgazette.com/news/state-and-regional/montana/pro-choice-pro-life-leaders-disagree-on-how-court-decision/article_f9de76f1-3200-53e1-bf25-ce958852056d.html http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2014-06-26/news/chi-abortion-protest-buffer-zone-20140626_1_buffer-zone-abortion-clinics-bubble-zone http://www.nbcnews.com/watch/nightly-news/abortion-clinic-protest-ruling-to-impact-several-states-290115651826 http://twitchy.com/2014/06/26/free-speech-wins-scotus-unanimously-overturns-expansive-abortion-clinic-buffer-zones-left-goes-nuts/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legal_protection_of_access_to_abortion http://www.wbur.org/2014/06/26/mass-officials-will-seek-new-buffer-zone-rules http://go.nationalpartnership.org/site/News2?page=NewsArticle&id=44019&security=3161&news_iv_ctrl=-1 http://www.carbonated.tv/news/abortion-clinic-protests-photos-videos http://www.salon.com/2014/06/26/do_what_we_tell_you_to_do_or_we_will_kill_you/The U.S. Supreme Court’s unanimous decision last week overturning Massachusetts’ 35-foot abortion clinic buffer zone law, which the court agreed unconstitutionally restricted the pro-life right to free speech, has implications far beyond similarly worded laws and ordinances around the country.

Pro-life vid of day: Radio host mocks opposers of contraception

kyleby Kelli

At Secular Talk, radio host Kyle Kulinski (pictured right) gives his take on why he believes pro-lifers are wrong to oppose contraception. To do so, he comments on a panel discussion from the National Right to Life Convention featuring remarks from radio host and pregnancy resource center director Joy Pinto. (Also shown in the clip are NRO editor Kathryn Jean Lopez and Dr. Jean Garton.)

In the course of the video, Kulinski claims that if a person represses their own urge to have sex, “it’s gonna manifest itself in all sorts of weird and screwed up ways” and insists that “it is overwhelming and unanimous that we all agree that contraception is a good thing”, despite the fact that his entire program is dedicated to claiming that religious pro-lifers are wrong on contraception – in other words, it’s obviously not unanimous.

It should really go without saying, but WARNING – Profanity:

Hobby Lobby pro-life SCOTUS decision and against abortion

UDPATE 6:20p: Americans United for Life notes:

The Court acknowledged the dangerous and radical view advanced by the Obama Administration: “Under HHS’s view, RFRA would permit the Government to require all employers to provide coverage for any medical procedure allowed by law in the jurisdiction in question—for instance, third-trimester abortions or assisted suicide.  The owners of many closely held corporations could not in good conscience provide such coverage, and thus HHS would effectively exclude these people form full participation in the economic life of the Nation.” (45-46)

Time author unleashes on pro-lifers while his baby is aborted

by Carder I just walked in with my wife. We’re trying to have another kid, and you know what? One in one hundred thousand fetal demise congenital deformity. So you’re yelling at my wife for doing nothing wrong in having a nearly dead baby inside her? And that’s what you’re gonna do?… You’re just yelling […]

Sunday Word: “Remember, you are a sinner saved by grace”

Never water down the Word of God, but preach it in its undiluted sternness. There must be unflinching faithfulness to the Word of God, but when you come to personal dealings with others, remember who you are - you are not some special being created in heaven, but a sinner saved by grace. ~ Oswald Chambers, “My […]

Pro-life photos of the week: crossing the yellow line; shady chic

I was surprised to see a photo posted yesterday by a typically hostile pro-abortion news source as wonderfully exemplifying the modern-day pro-life movement.

Pro-woman/pro-life

Kudos to Cosmopolitian, for while its article unsurprisingly blasted the Supreme Court’s unanimous decision overturning Massachusetts’ buffer zone law, it took the high road and properly portrayed pro-lifers standing outside the court as the ruling was read, and really, the pro-life movement as a whole, which is young, wholesome, and in this case shady-chic! Click all photos to enlarge…

When viewing the photo above I couldn’t help but recall this photo of pro-choice protesters during Wendy Davis’s filibuster of a late-term abortion ban in Austin, Texas, a year ago, via MSNBC/Associated Press, hardly pro-life bastions…
