Aurora Planned Parenthood investigation
To clarify exactly how the City of Aurora’s investigation into Planned Parenthood’s deception is going to proceed, because it has become a little confusing, I asked pro-life attorney Vince Tessitore of Aurora to explain. Tessitore is in the thick of it. He responded:
The Mayor said he has already started an investigation into the actions of both PP and the City by retaining attorney Richard Martens. He also said:
1) that if City Council choses to use someone else to conduct the investigation, that’d be fine
2) that PP would not be allowed to open pending the investigation
3) that the investigation report would be made public
4) that there would be no time limit on the investigation
At this point we’re still looking into Martens and apparently so is the City Council. The Mayor said he would get a bio on Martens to the Council Members today.

Well, theres no way in the world that PP did not decieve the city of Aurora. I think my 6 year old could conduct this investigation.
2) that PP would not be allowed to open pending the investigation
4) that there would be no time limit on the investigation
WOW!
2) that PP would not be allowed to open pending the investigation

Gee, I wonder how many women with no access to contraceptives will become pregnant in that time, and go on to have riskier late-term abortions.
I wonder how many women won’t get pap tests and breast exams and have their cancer advance to the point of no return in that time.
I wonder how many women won’t have their STD, HIV, or Hepatitus diagnosed in that time and spread it to others – including their own accidently conceived offspring. They’ll die too!
Can you just FEEL the warm wave of self-righteousness wash over you? You’re gonna kill some SINNERS!
*Sighs*
Sally, we already addressed this in another thread, wherein Laura said almost exactly the same thing. Your arguments are all too similar and read like they’re from a NARAL or PP political action guide.

Anyways, here we go again.
Your argument presents the False Delimma fallacy
Women all of a sudden won’t stop being able to receive these services, even low-income women. In addition to a number of private ob/gyn practices which take Medicaid and offer various means of assistance of their own, a number of communities also have public family planning (which do not provide abortions) and health clinics operated through local hospitals, which offer services for free and on a sliding fee scale, through public funding and private contributions. Yes, I do believe women should be able to receive low-cost primary care, gynelogical, and prenatal services. Why not support these clinics which provide these necessary services, but which do not loudly politically lobby nor provides abortion services.
Sorry, it was Laura I was addressing, not Sally. Laura, it seems has refused to respond to the above reply on the other thread and continues to repost the same argument.

Because I’m all for an organization that loudly lobbies for the rights and lives of women AND provides abortion services.
including this abortion Laura? should this be legal too?

That’s not even an abortion picture.
There’s none of the redness associated with an ancient saline procedure, and the body is covered with black necrotized tissue. That thing was dead a long time before it was spit out.
Because I’m all for an organization that loudly lobbies for the rights and lives of women AND provides abortion services.
An organization which places political action priority over the health and safety of women?
Believe me, there are a number of other worthy causes which one could lobby for the health and safety of women (such as domestic violence, homelessness, etc)
An organization which places political action priority over the health and safety of women?

No, that would be the Children of the Corn of Aurora, Illinois. You know – all of those scripture-shrieking freaks who would deny women essential medical services just to make a political point.
I wonder how many sinners you can kill just by keeping this clinic closed?
Laura, how many teenagers will remain chaste and not risk pregnancy or STDs in the first place because they’ll not have supposedly responsibly adults telling them that sexual activity is proof of their “maturity” and that it’s risk free as long as you use PP products?
God forbid there be some fifteen year old girl somewhere who is still a virgin!
Because I’m all for an organization that loudly lobbies for the rights and lives of women AND provides abortion services.
The two are mutually exclusive. Which is more important? Women’s rights and lives, or abortions?
Laura,
That thing was a baby. And I knew you didn’t watch the videos that I posted or you know that this was indeed an aborted baby…
Truth? You can’t handle the truth!
How about this one Laura…mr. tiller even provided a little memorial service. The baby’s crime? It dared to to have CF!…aborted at 27 weeks!

And very wisely, too. They’ll have another baby, one that they won’t have to bury.
Should have been done earlier though.
Well if I had to bet, I’d bet the PP will open. It may be delayed but eventually it’ll open.
BTW, Christina, PP does not advise anyone that their products are “risk free”. They teach the “Abstinance PLUS” agenda, that only abstinance is risk free but that the risks of sexual activity can be REDUCED.
(You should feel embarrassed for not already knowing that.)

That thing was COVERED with blackened, necrotized tissue! It was no doubt causing a revolting, septic MESS!
What? Are you mad that they didn’t let the pregnant woman die as well?

Laura,
Watch this video and then get back to me…it explains the bruising!

Hi Laura. If the picture that Jasper showed isn’t the result of an abortion, could you provide for us an actual picture of an abortion? Thanks, God love you.
Watch this video and then get back to me…it explains the bruising!

Thank you for proving you cant grasp the difference between bruising and necrosis.
CANDLELIGHT VIGIL AT PP-AURORA ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 7TH, AT 9:15PM
Most Reverend J. Peter Sartain, Bishop of Joliet, has requested a day of prayer and penance on Friday, September 7th, for the promotion of a Culture of Life and an end to abortion. As one of many responses to this request, a Candlelight Vigil will be held at the Planned Parenthood Aurora abortion site on that day, starting at 9:15PM. The facility is located at 3051 E. New York St., Aurora, IL.
This special Vigil will unite Catholics from the Joliet Diocese and all people of good will in public witness to the power of prayer.
The Vigil provides a supplement to–not a replacement for–the many parish commemorations of the September 7th day of prayer and penance.
Please spread the word!
