Lunch Break: Gordon and Norma Yeager
by LauraLoo
Gordon and Norma Yeager were married 72 years. Not only did they do life together, they died together on October 12th – 1 hour apart, while holding hands.
The endearing videos (below and embedded in the above article) testify to their personal love and commitment for each other, as well as their shared love of extended family for several generations. To God be the glory!

O Death! Where is thy sting? This story is bittersweet, yes. But much more than that.

I’m not a regular commenter, but I’m curious as to what the big deal is here.
There was pending action by the state to revoke his driver’s license. He continued driving and caused an accident that killed himself and his wife, and broke another woman’s neck.
I don’t get why it’s so remarkable that two people in the same car crash die within an hour of each other. Why is this being romanticized?
Wondering, good post. It may be an attempt to “have a story” in this day and age where there is the internet void to be filled.
