Quote of the Day 9-18-09
Stripping is not easy, I will tell you. I have huge
respect for people who do pole dancing now. Stripping is incredibly
empowering.
~ Actress Eva Amurri, the 24-year-old daughter of Susan Sarandon and Franco Amurri, on her guest-starring role as a student moonlighting as a stripper in the 3rd season of Showtime’s Californication, as quoted in the Huffington Post, September 18

She is obviously as bright as her mother….
“Stripping is incredibly empowering.”
If she enjoys the empowering feeling of being possessed by a spirit of lust, she should try serving Christ. The Holy Spirit provides Power with a Purpose – much more gratifying than trying to satisfy the lusts of the flesh, which are never satisfied.
Ed,
Amen. Not only is she hurting herself, but she’s hurting those watching her. (I hear feminists gasping everywhere.) Eva, it’s time to move on.
Her parents must be so proud.
You got it Janet.
Carla and Kristen, you guys are hilarious.
Hey now, I hear being reduced to nothing more than a sex object by strange men is plenty empowering…wait…
You got it X, being leered at by some strange disgusing drunk, every girl’s dream.
Ed, I’ve asked workers at the abortuary if their dreams, as little girls, were to grow up and work at an abortion clinic.
Powerful question KLynn. That is the type of inquiry that will keep them up at night doing some careful soul-searching.
Sounds like a “God-idea” type of question.
I love it when He downloads stuff like that!
You did your part by making yourself available for those women and He empowered you to meet their need.
I wonder which is more satisfying, being used by God to meet the needs of sighing, crying, dying humanity or yielding to a foul spirit of seduction arousing the fleshly lusts of some creepy, perverted stranger.
Well… whatever floats your boat, I guess. I don’t much appreciate how strippers make women look like sows, and I can’t imagine many of them being good mothers (there could be, but with thier bodies being priority I’d say a majority are pro-abortion). But if you don’t have enough brains to get a better job, then I guess this’s what you’re stuck with.
Abel,
Your comments are insulting and make you sound either very shallow, rude and ignorant or you’re attempting an “Ali G” type act.
Either way, you’ve got some serious character flaws. Are your parents divorced? You must not have had a very good male role model growing up, eh?
Abel,
Your parents have done you a horrible disservice. You don’t have a clue how valuable and precious women are. If you did, you never would have allowed such mindless drivel to flow from your keyboard.
When a moderator sees them, I’m sure your comments will be deleted.
You need some serious help my friend.
“Abel,

Actually, I guess it would be more like a “Borat” type of act. I’ve seen bits and pieces of it.
It’s all crap.

Mod,
Someone, probably Abel, falsely posted this and signed my name to it. Please delete it.
THE HOLY SPIRIT CONDEMNS THEE!

Whoever you are that posted this in my name, your theology is a little mixed up. Right now, the Holy Spirit’s job is to convict us of our sin, comfort us with the knowledge that Jesus has already paid the penalty for our sin, draw us to Him that we might be changed into His image, and then empower us to live a life worthy of Him.
Condemnation is typically God’s final judgment of those who have failed to please Him with their lives on earth. You want to avoid this eternal judgment at all costs. All you have to do is ask Jesus to forgive you and repent and serve Him.
But something tells me you already knew that.
I pray for your soul.
Amen. Not only is she hurting herself, but she’s hurting those watching her. (I hear feminists gasping everywhere.) Eva, it’s time to move on.

Feminists are NOT gasping everywhere.
The ‘feministas nuevas’ would agree with Eva.
They would say that IF a female stripper is freely employing all her assets then she has taken back control of her life. In fact they would argue that the empowered female stripper is exploiting the testosterone impaired males greatest weakness. She is exerting her dominance over the ‘man’.
The ‘new feminist’ would contend the female stripper is engaging both her superior intellect and her physical body in the struggle to regain the throne of female superiority from which she had been deposed.

Exhibit B: S. Carolina Governor Sanford
Exhibit C: Former New York Governor Spitzer
Exhibit D: Former Senator and John Edwards
Exhibit E: The still preaching Jimmy Swaggart
Exhibit F: Congressman Barney Frank
Exhibit G: Senator Larry Craig
And all of the testosterone impaired males are shouting amen and slipping another twenty in her thong undies. In their testosterone poisoned and alcohol impaired condition they view this as mutually beneficial relationship.
The feministas nuevas/new feminists, as well as the testosterone impaired males, are as deceived as the old bra burners who probably are ‘gasping’ in shock and awe at what has come as a complete surprize to them, but what any observor of human behavior could have easily predicted: Humans are stupid!
yor bro ken
Like mother, like daughter. Her mother is a glorified prostitute, having provided sexual entertainment to millions for money.
I will never understand how it is that you can pay a woman for sexual services in a hotel room, and it’s a crime, but if you do that and take pictures or video of it and share it with a million people, not only are the pictures/video legal, but the original act magically becomes legal, too.
These “love scenes” in Hollywood and other pornographic productions of theirs are nothing more than prostitution. It used to be illegal since our nation’s founding, until just the last few years. It’s time we recriminalized this garbage. People have a right to free political speech. They do NOT have a right to work in prostitution and share it with millions of people “legally.”
Hmm, I object to stripping, pornography, and prostitution on the grounds that it objectifies and belittles women as not individuals with brains and abilities, but as walking vaginas and sex toys, only good for giving men pleasure. Women are wired differently then men, for more intimacy and emotional connection, both which are lacking in any of these occupations and the physical and emotional toll these occupations have on most women is horrible.
