Pro-life video of the day: First-ever mouth tumor removed from preborn girl
by LauraLoo
Drs. Ruben Quintero and Efitichia Kontopoulos from Jackson Memorial Hospital were involved in the successful removal of the first-ever mouth tumor attached from a preborn baby.
The mom, Tammy Gonzalez, went for a routine scan during her pregnancy when she was presented with an unnerving image: an oral teratoma. Her preborn daughter seemed to be blowing a bubble from her mouth, which was around the size of a matchbox.
The operation was carried out May 2010, but the story just emerged because experts had to wait for their report to be published in the American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Human doctors treating a human mother’s soon-to-be-born human baby.
Is anyone paying attention out there?
Finally something good to come out of Florida!
Preborn fetus = preborn girl = living human so: Stop abortion NOW! #prolife
No doubt ole George Tiller would have considered this a severe fetal anomaly.
Who knew that “clumps of cells” could be operated on ???
U104, LOL.
They kept the ‘tumor’ with 206 bones, 2 eyes, 2 hands and feet…

She was 17 weeks along in utero and had surgery.
Thoughts on that CC? Joan?
But Carla, she was a WANTED child. The special pixie dust of wantedness was sprinkled on her and conferred personhood upon her. Not everybody gets the special dust.

Babies actually have over 300 bones at birth. Some on them fuse together later on. Just sayin’.
Mike, actually this mom was told to abort because the baby would either die in utero, during birth, or shortly thereafter (because these type of tumors tend to bleed out and hemorage). Mom refused the offered abortion and went doctor shopping until she found someone willing to help.
