Adds Tyler, also 18: “She deserves so much better.”
Still, Catelynn and Tyler – who are now engaged and currently appearing on the MTV spinoff Teen Mom – both acknowledge that the past year has been emotionally challenging.
“When I see a dad and a little girl walking to the park, I think, ‘I wish I could do that right now,’ ” admits Tyler, who has a tattoo of Carly’s name, newborn hand print and birth date.
Notes Catelynn: “There’s not a day she doesn’t pass my mind. I want to make her proud.”

Well I think they are wrong. They are the perfect parents for her. They knew they could give her a better life and did the most unselfish thing they could do for their baby. What a great couple of kids!

What a wonderful story! Her birth parents made a selfless, mature decision. Good for them. I’m so happy for her adoptive parents :)
I watch teen mom religiously and I love tyler and catelyn!!!!!! They always make me want to cry!!! I feel the struggles they have throughout the show.. how selfless they were to give their baby life and they made a whole other loving family happy in the process……..
Now this is a win-win-win!
How proud she will be of her birth parents and nurture parents both.
This will have a very positive influence on everyone involved.
