LA Times columnist compares HHS Mandate objections to 1960s racism

The Supreme Court is expected to decide in the next week or so whether to take up the question of whether a for-profit company can deny its female employees contraception coverage in employer-provided health plans because the company owner has a religious objection. We’re not talking about religious institutions here. We’re talking about a secular […]

Obama soaking the very young people who idolize him

What we are witnessing today is a historic inter-generational transfer of wealth. Past generations could expect a better life, but today’s youth are picking up the tab for the baby boomers. What’s more, it is the policies of the man they held up as a hero that are inflaming the problem.

Employees reveal Planned Parenthood’s slave wages and astronomical insurance premiums

2013-11-11_1643Last week I wrote about unsanitary conditions at a Pennsylvania Planned Parenthood clinic that is part of the Planned Parenthood Keystone affiliate.

Other PP Keystone employees have started adding their comments to that post, and they jibe with Lola’s* assessment of their horrible workplace environment.

But I have learned it doesn’t stop there. Wrote PP Keystone employee “CC” (combining excerpts from two comments):

Obamacare: Filling abortion industry’s coffers to tune of ~$1 bil/yr

In reality, the abortion fee is a dollar or more a month. Doesn’t seem like much, right? Well, those pennies add up. Alliance Defending Freedom does the math. Say just half of American workers are forced to pay only a dollar each month. That’s $924,000,000 – all funneled into an abortion-on-demand fund each year. That […]

Tomorrow pro-lifers will take to Twitter to pressure Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to #BeTransparent about abortion coverage in Obamacare.

Not part of the plan: 21 states ban private abortion coverage

What they’re trying to do make abortion more difficult to access and unaffordable for women, and this is one of the ways they can do that…. It’s part and parcel of the larger effort to make abortion harder for women to get…. Abortion should just be part of the comprehensive plan that women get because […]

  • Planned Parenthood is using Obamacare to expand its outreach into the Hispanic community:

Outreach efforts will particularly target Hispanic women, 38 percent of whom lack insurance coverage in Florida, according to a 2009 study by the Kaiser Family Foundation. Nearly 20 percent haven’t been screened for cervical cancer in the past three years, and nearly one-third haven’t had a mammogram in the past two years, according to Planned Parenthood.

Except Planned Parenthood doesn’t do mammograms.

Fed employee’s wife: “Tough” paying for abortion of “the fetus”

The baby would likely be stillborn in the seventh or eighth month. If carried, miraculously, to term, it would suffer from Trisomy 18, likely Down syndrome and heart failure. It did not possess a nasal bone….

Other women may have carried to term, or as close to term as possible, a child whose condition could allow it to live for a few days, or weeks, or maybe a few years. But faced with the impossibility of this loss, we chose to face it then, before a child had the chance to win our hearts and let us hope for the impossible.
