  • Pro-Life Action League says now, more than ever, we need to use the images of abortion victims in pro-life outreach:

Our opponents want the average person to think of abortion not just as something to be tolerated, but as something good. Needless to say, they definitely don’t want people to think about the unborn babies who are victimized by abortion. Indeed, they don’t want people to think abortion has any victims in the first place.Which is precisely why we must continue to show the pictures of abortion victims in the public square, for nothing elicits sympathy like pictures of the victims of injustice.

  • The Passionate Pro-Lifer tells the ending to a story that began over a year ago, when William Costello attacked and injured 69-year-old Everett Stadig, who was collecting signatures for a personhood petition. Stadig ended up with a broken hip, while Costello was arrested. His DNA was then linked to three unsolved sexual assault cases from 2008-2011. (One assault was on a 13-year-old.) Since it garnered little media attention, PPL obtained a press pass and attended all the hearings. The defendant was out on bail but failed to appear for his second day of his trial. He was subsequently found in his apartment of what authorities call an apparent suicide.

  • At New Wave Feminists, our latest blog addition, Destiny says that her son, for whom she chose life when she experienced an unplanned pregnancy as a teen, was “the best thing that ever happened” to her. Rather than ruining her life, he made her strong:

Had I aborted him it would’ve been out of nothing but fear and panic. I would be living in bondage and regret to this day. Through bringing him into this world though I became a feminist, an activist, an advocate for women whose shoes I’ve traveled in. And because of that unplanned pregnancy I found out I was stronger than I ever knew I was. In my opinion, that’s what true feminism is all about.
