Animal killers vs. baby killers
The photo, left, is of a reporter holding a dead puppy and was posted in the June 18 Roanoke-Chowan News Herald, accompanying an expose that two PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) workers who were caught killing dogs and cats and throwing them in dumpsters.
Why do you think the newspaper posted a photo of a dead animal pulled from a dumpster?
When viewing the photo, were you disgusted by the vicious act committed against helpless animals, and their gross disposal, or were you disgusted by the photographer?
What about an analagous photo of a baby killed by abortion?
In its report, Pilot 13 News wouldn’t show video of the dead animals, but it did show the dumpsters and the animals’ remains in garbage bags. Would that Pilot 13 News cared as much about the disposal of dead aborted babies.

If the media were to show and expose the abortion industry, or simply allow aborted babies to be aired on TV, then the media would have to explain why it is permissible to murderer babies. Even young children can discern right from wrong. They regularly view the signs on our Truth Trucks and ask “Why did someone kill that baby?” It is only adults and “intellectuals” who can explain away the unexplainable. Perhaps that is why Jesus said to have faith as a little child.

I’m sure you could inspire similar horror with images of animals killed for food. That doesn’t mean that we should all become vegetarians. It means that it’s easy to inspire emotions with images we are not used to seeing.

Abortion is wrong when for the wrong reasons, but there are circumstances when abortion has it’s logical reasons, if god has such a problem with it then he can do something. This picture is misleading… in the U.S. it is illegal to abort a child this far in developement. Wrong yes, reasonable yes. Would you rather the mother kill the baby after she gives birth? With the world being as overpopulated as it is, earth will not be able to fill the ecological footprint demanded by high society’s needs; so why bring another baby into the world when you yourself are struggling to survive? Some people have no grounds to stand on and don’t look at things from a logical point of view, as heartless as it may seem; some people have no choice…

People have reasons for having aboortions.
Some people just dont have the lifestyle for it or maybe they are struggling with other things in life for it.
How would you like if you saw a child starving because the parents couldnt afford to put food on the table.
Or the parents neglecting the child because they ‘didnt want it in the first place’.
Its not nice to see a child growing up in a broken family with no father or no mother.
Some parents even beat their child and tell em that they were a mistake.
People always say, “If you dont want a baby then use protection”. You make it sound like protection will prevent from people getting pregnate. What if the condom they were using broke? What if the pill didnt quite prevent the pregnancy?
Theres alot of ways that people get pregnate by accident or when I didnt want to.
Why give a child a life of hell.
Why let a child grow up in a broken family?

This is absolutely crazy, I have always believed in the woman’s choice and all of that up until now, I agree that the only real form of birth control is complete abstinence, so if you do not desire pregnancy or a child, don’t have any sexual relations. I do agree some people couldn’t deal with a pregnancy if they’d been raped but anything else is just unexcusable and besides I’m sure if a person had been raped, even then if they’re a strong person they could pray and raise the child up in a godly home and make the best of it… —jessica(a changed perspective)

I think the main issue here is being side-stepped; abortion is performed (legally in my country) by a variety of different proceedures. I, personally am against the ‘sucking’ method of disposal which is usually performed in the later stages of pregnancy. However, the method with I PERSONALLY have undergone involved taking a tablet which brought about a miscarriage. What I believe needs to be established is at what stage do we consider the ‘baby’ to be a ‘baby’? The photo you show, to me, looks like if it had been born it may have survived. This means you ARE killing a ‘baby’. I personally was at the 11 week stage of pregnancy where there is an 80% chance of miscarriage anyway. I was not carrying a ‘baby’, it was a bungle of cells that had I given ‘birth’ to would not have survived.
May I also add: Abortion is not a decision that ANY women undertakes likely! It is a painful, emotional process that is in no way an ‘easy option’.
Not that it matters, but I would like to tell you all that I am a married woman of no particular religion. The conception occured while i was on the contraceptive pill and I was only 21 years old. Given that I live in a country where the teenage pregnancy rate is through the roof, I think (and so does my husband) that we made a very hard, but ethical decision.
Look, i understand there are girls who may have been raped, or who have no resources to maintain a child or whatever, but do you know how many fmilies out there would like to hve and child and cant? i mean, what the hell is adoption for in the first place?? how can you murder your own child in such a cruel way? who knows what that baby could have done when grown up, he could have discovered the cure for AIDS, has no one thought about that? what is wrong with ppl??
Instead of putting so much money into “pro choice” bullshit they could just go and buy condoms for everyone, provide some real help and get teengers to understand the importance of family planning.
