Are they really serious about aborting gays? Homosexuality is a learned behavior/lifestyle, no matter what the DSM manual says. Therefore there is no such thing as a “gay fetus”. Besides, abortion is still murder, no matter what the reason.
I proposed this question to several gay men in the late 80s, “Would you still support abortion on demand if the reason given by the mother for the abortion was that the child would be born gay?”. (I suspected at that time that homosexuality is linked to DNA, and I continue to think that science will confirm that eventually.) The look on their faces was shock, disgust and then fear. I guess abortion can be a “choice” if it is not YOUR life someone is deciding upon. These men were forced to think in different terms, and although they never directly answered my question, I know they no longer looked at the concept of abortion as “a private matter between a woman and her doctor” any longer.
