What village?
You didn’t hear about it on MSM, but a group of 40 from the pro-life group Survivors (people born from 1973 on) staged an old-fashioned sit-in at Hillary Clinton’s Los Angeles campaign office on July 6.
Disrupting fundraising and meals, the Survivors chalked the cement floor with pro-life messages and held signs showing exactly what Hillary supports.
Spokesperson Kortney Blythe said in a statement, “This is not about a political party, but rather about youth taking a stand against anyone who promotes an act that kills a child, permanently scars a woman, and has wiped out one-third of our generation.”
Good for them. See more photos on Blythe’s facebook. See a video of the Survivors inside headquarters here and being escorted out by police here.
Actually, the Survivors were very busy last week, holding a training camp.
Pro-aborts didn’t like the Survivors or their pictures. These videos are not for the faint of ear. These aren’t unusual responses. I know.
At Venice Beach….
At late-term abortionist Josepha Seletz’s home, who slices and dices at Pro-Choice Medical/Eve Surgical Center in L.A….
Pro-aborts are such pleasant people. What are they so mad about? It’s just a choice.

Eh…there are idiots and foul mouthed creeps on both sides of the debate.
I hope I am “pleasant” for a pro-abort. :)
Yes, Rae, you’re a pleasant pro-abort.
That woman from Venice beach is setting a nice example for her child in the back seat of her bike. The kid is probably sayting “get me away from this nutty woman”.
why are they so angry? this is choice….
I remember a few months ago at Havard University, some pro-life people displayed pictures of unborn babies at various stages (not abortion photos) and they still got heckled…
Pleasant pro-abort.
A new oxymorn has been born..oh..eh..aborted?
Clever, clever HisMan.
But I agree with Jasper, that woman on the bike is being a very poor example for her kid, using vulgar language like that. My parents never swore in front of us until we were at least 5. And when they swore, it was usually *at* us…:-p
Hello Rae and my favorite mentor HisMan…..
BY THE WAY JILL…
WELCOME BACK!!!!
We were dyin’ here…needed new material. Whew! We were talking about computer games and actually got into a rumble about mythology…
KID! MOM’S HOME!!!
Rae –
You are a great pro-abort! Any chance of making that a great convert? (You knew I had to do it, right? ;-)
*smooch*
Mom’s home! yippee!!!!
Hi Mk,
As long as the abortion holocaust is going on, unfortunatly, there will always be material…
Hey Valerie,
You have some excellent posts on your blog too. What does “2 seconds faster” stand for?
@Valerie: Halloooooo! :D How has your summer been? I am excited for it to end…I’m in summer classes, but I’m ready for my fall classes to start ASAP! :D That and at the end of August I’ll be going to see Weird Al Yankovich. ^_^
But no, I won’t be converting anytime soon, sorry to disappoint.
“Yes, Rae, you’re a pleasant pro-abort.”
No — but she may be a pleasant person otherwise.
To the extent that someone may be identified as a pro-abort, it’s precisely on that characterization that pleasantry takes a vacation.
I second Rasqual on that.
“How has your summer been? I am excited for it to end”
Rae-Rae, summer just started… Please, don’t speed up time…
But Jasper, I’m so bored! I’m excited for my next semester of classes, my summer course is a lot easier than I predicted so I have way too much time on my hands because I didn’t get a job as I thought I would be too busy with that class!
Rae,
You can always try to read up on your fall courses, what are you taking this fall, anything interesting?
I’m taking…Genetics, Microbiology, Statistics, Public Health View of HIV/AIDS, Environmental and Occupational Public Health and What is Public Health?.
Lots of public health classes…gettin’ ready for grad school. :)
I’m particularly excited for the microbiology class because I’ll be ahead in it because I’ve been working in a microbiology lab for nearly a year now. I’m also anticipating the HIV/AIDS class, it should be very informative.
wow, that seems like a full load of courses…
the Public Heath stuff seems interesting…what kind of position will you be looking for when you graduate ?
It’s not so bad. I’m just taking a bunch of public health classes this semester because I am just waiting to get intro Micro out of the way so in the Spring I’ll be taking Immunology and what not.
I hope to get a position at the Minnesota Department of Health in infectious disease prevention and/or education. I would like to do outbreak assessment as well. :) Eventually I would like to work in HIV/AIDS prevention and what not. I haven’t exactly decided, but I do know I want to work for the state, even though I know the Department of Health in Minnesota is kind of having political issues (politics should stay the heck out of public health…).
Hey Rae:
You’re not pleasant, just sweet.
Just kidding. Hey…c’mon over to our side, we need ya.
Are you a Canuck, using Eh all the time?
Hey, the Great One lives in Phoenix ya know.
God love ya.
@HisMan: If you consider Minnesota to be Canada than I suppose I am a Canuck. :) Naw, I just like to use “eh” and “meh”.
Weird Al lives in Phoenix? I thought he lived in LA…
The Boston Bruins never could beat the Great One.
when he first went to the Pros, they said:
“too small, too wiry, and too slow to be a force in the (NHL)”
I have no idea who the “Great One” is… I know nothing about sports.
testing….
Rae,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wayne_Gretzky
Hey Rae:
I understand that they need an infectious disease expert at the universtity where Cam works..uh..oh…plays.
They have found new strains of atheosis, humanisteosis, monisteosis, liberaliosis, nihilisiosis and agnosticisiosis there never found anywhere else on earth and are feared, in this stage of their lifecyles, to be highly contagious and destructive.
A pandemic is feared and the source appears to have been traced to 5 or 6 individuals wearing black angel of death robes, thought to be of an unidentified cult, going in and out of the United States Supreme Court building back in the 1960’s and 70’s. The films, while alluding researchers, were accidentally discovered by a graduate student doing her doctoral dissertation, “Why Can’t We All Get Along and I Am Not Asking A Question”. They were found buried under Autographed John Lennon photos in the “Let’s Ignore the Truth File” of the Archives of the Library of Congress.
The method of transmission appears to be rather novel, i.e., via the media, internet and various public learning institutions, and the symptoms, while appearing very harmless, cute and intellectual at first, eventually degrade into a debilitating hardness of the heart and inability to love (calcific valentinitis), an unexplicable hate for the unborn (fetus envy) and a willingness to call chocolate, chewing gum (choice confusion syndrome). Go figure……
I understand that the cure is foxholes, brushes with death, mortality realization, growing older, loss of loved ones, and yes…waking up. It’s amazing because despite mountains of evidence, many fail to accept the treatment.
For a nearly Canuckian, here’s a clue. The Great One’s initials are WG and he used to hit a black thing with a stick into a net better than anyone on the planet.
Alice Cooper lives here too and about a million other celebs.
Cameron, Alice Cooper is a Christian. We’re all over the place.
Oh, here’s another tidbit: Next Sunday night (7/15) at Phoenix First Assembly, Brian Welch, the former lead guitarist of “Korn” will be giving his testimony about becoming a Christian and intoducing his new book. I understand that there will be about ten billion young people at the service.
Brilliant HisMan,
Only one correction, there were 7 cult members in black angel of death robes…
… and the whole case was based on a lie:
“In 1970, attorneys Linda Coffee and Sarah Weddington filed suit in Texas on behalf of Norma L. McCorvey (“Jane Roe”). McCorvey claimed her pregnancy was the result of rape, she now says that claim was false and is now Pro-life.
Rasqual,
I thought we’d lost you…where have you been?
I too am no fan of sports. That ultimate frisbee tournie was the first event of any sort I have been to in 20 years.
I must say tho, that while I don’t follow it, I do enjoy and have been to see, a good hockey game. (Go Black Hawks)…there is something so surreal about it…
Arabesque…entrechat…pirouette…plie…THWACK!
Good one HisMan,
And you didn’t quote scripture once. There can’t be any complaints from the theophobics…
Why, good morning, MK. How are you?
HisMan, 11:45p: verrry witty!
MK, Valerie: haha on “mom’s home”… :) Thanks for watching the house. No fires. No vandalism. No thefts. Good job!
Re: “Yes, Rae, you’re a pleasant pro-abort”… I was surprised Rae admitted she was a pro-abort, #1. So #2, I was going for the “splash of water in the face effect.” It apparently didn’t work on her, although everyone on our side caught it.
Rasqual: sight for sore eyes!
Weird Al. Oh that guy is a scream! I’m LOL just thinking about it!! The lady on the bike has probably had an abortion herself. Didn’t like the look of it. There is no reason to swear and scream like that. Men who love abortion are simply irresponsible. I know a lot of men who pressured their girlfriends to abort. No commitment, no child support, no ties. It was only a matter of time until their relationships ended. I also know of women who insisted on having the abortion. Their boyfriends were devastated. Their relationships are over also.
Hey HeatherB.
Off to therapy soon…I swear they won’t be happy til the other leg is messed up too!
By the way Smaug, nobody has tried to molest me yet. Maybe I’m just going to the wrong physical therapists?
Sounds like tons of fun, MK. And by that…I mean none at all.
Gosh, I love my job sometimes. I get to work on my MySpace page and watched “Charmed” at the same time!
HeatherB,
What do you do? I want that job!
MK,
I basically just file deeds online. Every morning after 2 o’clock, I log into a government database, flip through documents, and record the needed information. Once I send the documents in by the deadline, I have the rest of the day to do whatever I want.
It’s quite nice.
MK good luck at therapy. I have to take my daughter in for shots @ 10 AM. Have a good day all! See ya later.
Poor Ann Coulter, people either love her or despise her.
Bah. Someone kick me in the face, please?
I just remembered why I hate farmwork while loving it at the same time…

Sorry for the delay. With my son out of school it is hard to find any peace and quiet! My summer has been busy, and I would like for school to start too. And since it is my son who will be back at school and not me is even better! Have fun seeing Weird Al Yankovich. He’s awsome. hey – I never did get a chance to check out the band you recommended but I didn’t forget!
Jasper –
“You have some excellent posts on your blog too. What does “2 seconds faster” stand for?”
Thanks. I’m having fun. 2 seconds faster is how the world is now. Everything needs to be 2 seconds faster and nothing is fast enough. Then when it is two seconds faster, they complain that quality is poor, or they want it to go even faster. An example is the person driving that is weaving in and out of slow traffic or speeding down the road because they think that their life is more important than everyone elses. And the fact is, by doing all that they are only going to be 2 seconds faster than what they would have been and they might be putting lives in danger by driving erratically. So is it worth it? If you read the Mother Teresa quote I have in the “about” section you will see where my thought process on this started.
Dan –
*KICK*
did that help?
It did help a little. Thank you.
HisMan,
“Cameron, Alice Cooper is a Christian. We’re all over the place.”
If everyone jumped off a bridge…..
Poor Ann Coulter? Actually I think she’s probably living large.
@HisMan: Har-dee-har-har, very clever. :) And now I know who you are talking about. Actually, he was my first guess but then I was like, “wait,I thought Wayne Gretzkey was Canadian…” and thusly became confused for a bit. I was never a hockey fan so.
*shrugs*
Ahaha! I love Alice Cooper though, he was fantastic back in the day, and I’m sure he’s still pretty awesome now. My dad thinks he’s great too, he thought it was soooo funny when Cooper did a few TV spots last year about being a good father considering this was a guy who killed a chicken on stage eons ago. :)
@Jill: Eh, I’ve just given up fighting over the name “pro-abort” vs “pro-choice”. If you want to call me “pro-abort” that’s your prerogative, as I’ve pretty much given up caring about the naming of the sides or whatever. :)
@Valerie: :D That’s okay! But I have another album recommendation for Within Temptation if you still like listening to them. “Mother Earth” is a good album of theirs, it’s one of their earlier ones and it’s quite good.
RAE!!!
*TACKLEHUGS*
MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA. GONDOR-RIFFIC!
Lyssssssiiiiieeee!
I’m going to go look at an apartment tonight! I hope it’s “up to my vati’s standards” because I want to move out soooooo badly!
I think I’m going to be a masochist and take advanced organic chemistry lab this fall…
Rae, I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you. I love Alice too. He was just on VH1.
Good luck apartment hunting, Rae. I hope you find a decent place.
I’m still working on saving up the necessary cash.
Good luck apartment hunting, Rae. I hope you find a decent place.
I’m still working on saving up the necessary cash.
Aack.
Sorry about the double post.
Rae –
I almost bought Mother Earth with my last Amazon order. I’ll go ahead and get it. I still listen to the CD I got. I really like it.
ALICE COOPER! I love him!
Question for all those over 30 – anyone remember when Alice was on the original “Muppet Show”? It was a Halloween episode and he tried to get Gonzo to sell his soul to the devil. It was hysterical. I believe he sang “schools out” and “welcome to my nightmare”. How pathetic is it that I remember that! (if I’m right that is – I haven’t seen it since gradeschool!)
“I believe he sang “schools out” and “welcome to my nightmare”.”
and he sang “Billion dollar babies”
great song…
MK —
I’ll be in and out. Nice crew here, and I like Jill’s blogging. Alas, life is busy!
Alice Cooper! In my day he was considered over the top, though by today’s standards he would be pretty mundane. I always liked him and saw him in concert about 6 years ago for $20.00. A fantastic time and concert, huge turnout. My ears were ringing though for about a week afterward.
