Late-term abortionist George Tiller just reopened his mill after being closed for 25 straight days, the longest since he opened his chop shop in 1975, according to Operation Rescue.
Why he was closed all that time is not a trivial matter….

His people say it was due to vandalism on July 4, and MSM dismisses it and us with that. From a condescending Kansas City Star blog post, August 21:

The pro-life community has been abuzz with speculation about why Wichita abortion doctor George Tiller’s clinic was closed for three weeks. The fact is, mold developed in the walls after masked vandals drilled a hole in the roof of the clinic, inserted a garden hose and flooded a room. The clinic reopened Monday.

But Tiller remained open almost three weeks after his hosing (for which, interestingly, the perps were never caught) and closed only beginning the week of his arraignment on 19 counts of having financial or legal ties to the abortionist, Ann Kristin Neuhaus, who authorized his late-term abortions as being necessary for “severe and irreversible damage to a [mother’s] major bodily function.”
In fact, Tiller did not start aborting patients until this past Wednesday, and only six at that, a low death toll for the day when it actually should have been high. Tiller should have had a stacked up patient load. He specializes in late-term abortions. Mothers are known to fly from all over the world to abort their viable babies at his mill.
In addition, all abortions Wednesday were early term, according to OR. It’s easy to spot a baby bump.
So, again, why was Tiller closed all that time? Former KS Attorney General Phill Kline had the logical explanation in an August 21 LifeNews.com op ed:

He can’t find another Neuhaus. An unintended consequence of their effort to dance with the law….
[H]ow many doctors are willing to be a part, every day, of ending the life of a healthy viable child? And how many doctors in order to participate in such abortions are willing to diagnose severe single episodic depression to justify an abortion so a women can go to a rock concert?
Not many.
Most likely, Mr. Tiller is having a hard time finding someone who has the exact same philosophy as he does. For this we can celebrate.

This also substantiates Kline’s allegation that Tiller illegally aborted late-term mothers for petty reasons.
