Busy weekend for pro-life activists in Aurora, Denver
On Saturday, pro-lifers displayed the truth of abortion with graphic signs to everyone driving into and by all entrances of the Aurora Dominick’s shopping mall:

Regretfully, Dominick’s forced pro-lifers to spread out to all possible Planned Parenthood Aurora access points when it erected an urban ghetto chain link fence around its vacant lot across from PP late last week….

Dominick’s action stopped pro-lifers from focusing their educational efforts solely across from the PP parking lot.
Meanwhile, Denver pro-lifers picketed the home of Don Gendall, a Weitz Construction vp, on Sunday. Weitz is the current general contractor for the proposed Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains’ 50,000 sq. ft. mega-mill to be built in a Denver minority neighborhood.

Pro-lifers previously picketed the Weitz office and also the home of senior Weitz vp Gary Meggison.

You know why animal rights activists use house pickets? You know why anti-globalization activists in DC use house pickets?
They work.

Hello there Hal. I say that the PL side ought to keep up the great work!! Run PP off!
I’ve been out of the loop on this for awhile, but the entire situation just sickens me. Being away from things for awhile has just reminded me how disturbing our society really is. I really don’t understand how things have gotten so far gone and how everyone just goes right along with it. Sad.
I wouldn’t want to buy any meat from Dominicks!!!In fact, that’s enough to make me not want to shop there at all!!! BAD decision for Dominicks….especially if the PL’s will be there every weekend with those pics!!! With the disgust that the pics stir up, I’m sure folks will go elsewhere to grocery shop! (Hey…WalMart superstore is right down Ogden in Osewego…the prices are AWESOME & it’s not too crowded!)
“Meanwhile, Denver pro-lifers picketed the home of Don Gendall, a Weitz Construction vp,”
Thats good news, he making blood money.
Hi PL Laura! LAUREN, I agree. It’s just so devestating, isn’t it? I was just about to ask anyone if they had heard from you!! I wanted to give up too. My friend had an abortion a few weeks ago, the PP clinic opened, and I just felt so overwhelmed. God reminded me that I was a voice for the voiceless. Was I going to allow the other side to win? So, here I am. I now know why. Many are called, but few are chosen.
Lauren, I couldn’t agree more! This society had better wake up. Honestly, I have never met so many women who agree with abortion.
jasper, good.
Heather,
Sorry to hear about your friend & your emotional times…Satan is REALLY at work here…I haven’t been around because my Grandmother passed away on Wednesday…my computer got a HORRIBLE virus on Friday (fixed now, though!)….life is getting back to normal, now…I WILL NOT GIVE UP!!!! What’s really strange, though, is that I would have rather been at the mill on Saturday to help out than being at the funeral…I figured that my Grandma has already passed, but my presence there may have helped SAVE a life!!! I felt guilty…Wierd, huh?
PL Laura, actually I don’t find it wierd at all! I feel the same way that you do. It’s a calling on your heart and mine. Eh, sorry about your week. So sorry to hear about your grandmother.
PL Laura, sorry to hear about your grandmother.
Heather,
Thanks! It’s ok…she got to live 87 years! These poor babies don’t get to live 1 day!
I don’t live near Aurora or I’d have been picketing the new PP Auschwitz from day one, but I say picket them, and picket Dominick’s until they’re both gone. Wonder what kind of deal the babykillers offered Dominick’s for their assistance, or did they just aid and abet these serial child slaughterers out of the kindness of their hearts? Maybe a kickback somewhere in the ground meat department?
Hey Phil,
If people don’t like everyone to see what they support maybe they should not support it.
Whether it is torturing animals, polluting or killing kids, no one should be able to hide from the truth.
Hi all!
Whats with everyones obsession with Satan? cant any of you take responsibility for your own actions?

I think a group ought to get together and picket the homes of the picketers.
Esther said: I think a group ought to get together and picket the homes of the picketers.

You guys can’t even come out to support anything, let alone protest anything….you’re welcome to picket my home anytime…I’d love to see your slogans!!!
PL Laura, LOL! Ya, bring your plastic coat hangers.
Weitz people need to realize that prolifers are going to be out there unless and until. We are a stubborn group. I am glad to see they aren’t giving up.
Liam, if pro aborts could take responsibility for their own actions, we sure wouldn’t need abortion.
My friend had an abortion a few weeks ago, the PP clinic opened, and I just felt so overwhelmed. God reminded me that I was a voice for the voiceless.

Wow. Maybe she saw your lack of education, your crappy job, your kids and your parents living in the same house and decided to to have to abortion.
Not everyone wants the kind of life that even drives YOU into drunken rages in the middle of the night.
Mosy women want a better life for themselves and their children…
Ester, are you saying they shouldn’t be out there picketing? I see some women in that group. Are you trying to tell her what to do with her body? Are you trying to tell her she can’t march her body up and down a public street? Are you telling her what kinds of sign her body can hold?

Most pro-choicers don’t have the Fred Phelps mentality.
Laura, That’s okay.
Laura, are you telling me that I can’t drink? My body, my choice. You drink. I am a social drinker. Even if I wanted to drink myself into oblivian every night, wouldn’t that be MY choice? It’s my body.
I think people just need to realize that you can’t camp out on someone else’s property unless you have their expressed permission to do so. Picketing someone’s home= violation of their privacy.
Dominick’s had every right to put up a fence on their own property in order to keep people from loitering on it. Wanting to run them out of business is a very childish response to not getting your way. I suggest a bunch of you pool your money and buy the land from Dominick’s, then you can camp out there as long as you like. Until then it is their right to determine who they want and don’t want loitering on their property, including pro life protesters, NAMBLA, Tibetan monks, the KKK, the Chicago Bears defense, the Girl Scouts, and underprivileged children selling baskets of kittens.
My lack of education? Crappy job? I’ve got news for you. “Kathy” doesn’t have an education, and she already has a crappy job. It was me who asked her if she ever planned on attending college @ the age of 20 something. Her response “No, schools not my deal.” She already has a “welfare brat” as you so call it. So, we shall see if the abortion really helped her out at all. Of course we will have to catch up with her in about 10 years from now. The only thing that abortion did for her was enable her to return to her dysfunctional lifestyle.
Laura, how many PCers died from coat hanger abortions? Do you have any links?
The only thing that abortion did for her was enable her to return to her dysfunctional lifestyle.

..And you hauled more innocent young victims into your dysfunctional lifestyle.
Good work, role model!
Laura, you don’t know my age, but I am a lot younger than you.
JK, they are not on private property. They are walking up and down a public sidewalk. If they were on private property, they would have been arrested.
..And you hauled more innocent young victims into your dysfunctional lifestyle.
Good work, role model!
Posted by: Laura at October 15, 2007 5:43 PM****************************** I don’t get it. I dragged her into my lifestyle? Last time I checked, she had free will to either have, or not have sex. She had sex, and she got pregnant.
Some residential streets are considered to be private property. I remember back in high school before I got my parking pass I used to park on a residential street a half a block from the school, as did others. We were told that we could no longer park there because it was private property.
And also, the Dominick’s lot is not public domain if it is owned by Dominick’s.
the fence doesn’t seem to block access to the “public sidewalk.” Judging only from the photos, I wasn’t there. I can’t imagine they’d be allowed to fence around a public sidewalk.
Per Laura:
“Not everyone wants the kind of life that even drives YOU into drunken rages in the middle of the night.”
Don’t worry Heather, Laura is enough to drive anyone to drink. I can’t imagine the poor sad life she leads. It must get really uncomfortable flying around on a broom all day.
No wonder she’s crabby and unhappy. She just spends her day waiting to pounce her sick sarcastic remarks towards people.
I don’t get it. I dragged her into my lifestyle? Last time I checked, she had free will to either have, or not have sex. She had sex, and she got pregnant.

I wasn’t referring to your friend.
Sandy, LOL!
Okay, I get it. hahaha.
Sandy, Hal never got around to watching any of the abortion videos. The very man who was going to help the PC cause, can’t even “suck it up” for a minute, and watch what he stands for.
“Hal never got around to watching any of the abortion videos. The very man who was going to help the PC cause, can’t even “suck it up” for a minute, and watch what he stands for.”
Sorry it wasn’t a priority for me. I’m not opposed to watching it, but I don’t know what that exercise is supposed to prove. For example, I have no stomach for watching open heart surgery, but don’t think it should be illegal.
and what do you mean “help the PC cause.” What does watching some bloody video have to do with helping the “cause?”
We’re supposed to watch the video and immediately turn from our “evil” ways…..
Hal, don’t you think that you ought to be able to watch what you support? Just as I thought, you cannot do it. Your guilt would eat you alive.
J Keller, hello. No. I was really directing that at Hal. He’s been avoiding that video like the plague. I can’t say I blame him. Hal, the Silent Scream isn’t bloody. They are just going to remove some “tissue.” Can you watch an ultrasound?
Heather, I support a lot of things I have no interest in watching. Heart surgery, like I mentined, and legal prostitution, and how about making sausage?
That doesn’t mean I don’t understand what is “really” happening.
Then watch the video. You are a man. Tell me, do women deserve this?
“Tell me, do women deserve this?”
women deserve the right to make a decision about “this.”
Hal, uh hu. I figured as much. Never mind.
PL Laura,
Sorry also to hear of your grandmother’s passing. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord, and let perpetual life shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.
Don’t worry about not being there on Saturday, Laura. I and others were on hand to offer assistance and pray. While I was there (10 am to 1 pm) PP had very few victims (clients) in their killing factory. I did observe one young woman (who left with her partner) leaving who may have aborted her child. May God forgive her and help her to seek forgiveness and healing.
Hal and Jk, I was referring to the Denver protest. Anyways, on a post a week ago or so, it said that the police had already spoken with the Denver protesters and told them what they could and couldn’t do. Don’t you think if the Denver protesters were on a private road they would be arrested? The Denver protesters are walking up and down a public road.
Then watch the video. You are a man. Tell me, do women deserve this?

Deserve?
Women WANT this, and pay good money for the privledge.
The free market has spoken. Abortion is the #1 elective surgery in America because WOMEN WANT THEM.
We know that Hal wanted it. He supports it, and he agrees with it. Why not watch what you support? You and Erin did it.
Seen it. and ive seen much more disgusting things on this planet then that video.
Hippie:
OMG I couldn’t have said it better. How can you support something so vehemently and not be able to look at the reality of what it is. I would assume since most of us took high school biology, we know what a fetus is, and so the only conclusion I can draw is that pro choice people just don’t believe that that fetus has worth. If you are OK with abortion you should have no problem with the pictures/reality of it.
Laura:
I am the furthest thing from poor and uneducated. In fact, I would venture to say that we are quite well off and well-educated. Our children are well dressed and taken care of. We have adopted two children internationally also. I think most people would like to be in my situation, at least financially. So, I would say your argument doesn’t hold a lot of water there.
I think everyone wanting to have an abortion should watch that video. If you can go forward with the abortion, all the more power to you.
And, on the Satan issue. I agree with Liam. We need to take responsibility for our decisions and actions. We all do. I don’t necessarily have a problem with blaming Satan, but it shouldn’t be an excuse to not own up to our own actions or to excuse those actions of others.

Posted by: Jonathan at October 15, 2007 6:55 PM******************************** Like what?
Sorry typo: “Let perpetual LIGHT shine upon her.”
That Light is Christ, Who is the Light of men.
From the beginning of the Gospel according to St. John:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God; and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him was made nothing that had been made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness; and the darkness grasped it not. There was a man, one sent from God, whose name was John. This man came as a witness, to bear witness concerning the Light, that all might believe through Him. He was not himself the Light, but was to bear witness to the Light. It was the true Light that enlightens every man who comes into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own, and His own received Him not. But to as many as received Him He gave the power of becoming sons of God; to those who believe in His name: who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. AND THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, and dwelt among us. And we saw His glory, the glory as of the Only-begotten of the Father, full of grace and of truth.
Heather;
Like a 12 yo boy blown into 100 pieces as he walked across a parking lot.
Like a 5 yo girl with he head smashed by a rock thrown over a school wall.
Like a man being taken off the side of a church he had been nailed to.
those were all FAR more disturbing then “The Silent Scream”
Well said, Jonathon.

have you ever seen a man with nails driven threw his eyes?

You’re telling me that county cork Ireland was a battle zone? Are we talking about the same county cork? The one on planet earth?
MK;
Parts of it were less then pleasant to be yes. but no, i was talking about where i went to Boarding School, which was MUCH closer to the boarder, and the town had fequent bombings by both the IRA, and the Orangemen. The 12 year old who got blown up lived in the same dorm as me. The girl got it by a rock aimed at some passing Black and Tans. and the Man who was nailed up, i dont know what he did…. prolly nothing more then being Loyalist. All this was as well i was away at school. Cork was much more peaceful, but still not completely safe.
“I grea up in a war zone, I’ve seen all these things. and by comparison, that video does NOT disturb me.”
there’s no hope for you then.
“Regretfully, Dominick’s forced pro-lifers to spread out to all possible Planned Parenthood Aurora access points when it erected an urban ghetto chain link fence around its vacant lot across from PP late last week”
How is a chain-link fence “urban” and “ghetto”? Now you’re racist, Jill. Nice.
mk- Ireland is indeed a warzone. It’s primarily guerrilla type things, with no large scale militarization, which is why we don’t hear much about it.
Erin;
Its not so bad now. but when i was growing up, it was the worst of the Troubles, and the Brits still thought the south would surrender.
Jonathan,
that’s absolutely horrible. I can’t even imagine.
abortion is much worse than whatever happened in Northern Ireland. I think it was over-hyped.
Jasper;
of course you would. you didnt live threw it. You are probably one of those people who think abortion is worse then the holocaust too. its easy to belittle something you havent gone threw.

Over-hyped?
One convicted criminal gets nailed to a piece of wood and some people whine about it for 2000 years…
Laura,
watch your mouth.
Jonathan,
It doesn’t feel too good when somebody dismisses something you feel strong about, does it? especially when it comes to killing humans..it goes both ways.
Jasper.
slight difference between me saying i wasnt sickened by a video, and you saying that thousands of men/women/childrens death were “over-hyped”
Jonathan,
You’re “pro-choice” correct? You’re for the legalized killing of unborn humans? correct.
48,000,000 is the US since 1973, which includes several million killed past viability.
jasper,
that was pretty insensitive of you.
jasper, every murder is horrific. Piling up death numbers like it’s a competition is sick.
Jasper;
nope, im actually against abortion. i have voted “no” on every referendum to legalize it since i came of age.
PIP,
You should start holding up your pro-abort friends to the same standards you hold for pro-lifers.
I do. Thanks for your apology.
“nope, im actually against abortion. i have voted “no” on every referendum to legalize it since i came of age.”
great news. Good for you, hopefully the US will smarten up like the Irish…. (hey, I’m half Irish myself..)
PIP, sorry…. how’s college going?
Paul,
Thanks for the kind words & prayer.
Re: Dominicks (Safeway)..here’s my stand:
I, nor the community is stupid…Safeway said that the fence was erected due to liability issues. There has not been a fence around that area for MANY years. Suddenly, after approx. 48 hrs. after the opening of PP, the permit for the fence was applied for. Come on, now, Safeway…how stupid do you think we are? I cannot believe for the life of me why it would upset a corporation this much to have the presence of maybe 10-20 people praying and offering support to CONFUSED and HURT girls on their property.
I will not offer my support to ANY business in the Safeway leased business park on the corner of Eola & New York St. I will take my business elswhere
Laura,
You are entitled to your opinion but not your own facts.

Accused of blasphemy but not convicted. I think the Roman governor said he found not fault in him.
Come on, religious people, back me up!
jasper,
It’s okay. I had a genetics exam today, just hoping to get same or better on it as last time.
Also I have two midterms on thursday, Christian Morality and Literature of Ridicule and Satire, and I have a paper due friday, and a book report wednesday, but after that its break and I’m really excited about that!
Also I suck at life, as demonstrated by the fact that I woke up satruday morning and upon looking to my left, heard my neck snap. I still can’t move my head without shooting pains. I pulled a muscle apparently, and the doctor said it is like a typical whiplash injury (?). Leave it to me to pull a muscle by simply looking at the clock. But I have cyclobenzaprine, so it will be okay.
Other than that, it is great. how about you?
PL Laura-
“I cannot believe for the life of me why it would upset a corporation this much to have the presence of maybe 10-20 people praying and offering support to CONFUSED and HURT girls on their property.”
If something happened on that lot, then Safeway would be liable. Hello lawsuit. They have every right to erect a fence around their property. It is tresspassing, and I’m sure that Safeway does not want to involve the police and have people arrested for tresspassing.
Its seriously nothing personal. I’m actually kind of shocked that you feel its personal. Its not. Safeway is a business and they need to protect themselves.
And, if “confused” girls who are “hurt” want help, they’ll ask for it. Thats another thing about hte PL movement: its very narcissistic, like they ALWAYS know what is best for strangers. Honestly, thats none of your business, to be frank.
You are WAY too sensitive.
PiP,
When I hurt my back the doc told me to take Advil and cyclobezaprine. It worked better than either alone.
Hope you feel better soon.
Thanks hippie! I am trying to motivate my muscles to heal.
“Also I suck at life, as demonstrated by the fact that I woke up satruday morning and upon looking to my left, heard my neck snap.”
ah, that stinks.
I’m doing ok, my son hasn’t had any seizures since he’s been on depakote but he may have ADHD, he started 1st grade but is having trouble sitting in his chair without moving and paying attention.
Good-luck on your midterms….
Good-night all

Yes, they do have every right…I was just stating that I found it “extremely coincidental” that it would be done at this time. I live in the area, Womyn, and have to tell you that there has always been MANY people walking through the empty lot, riding their bikes through it, playing frisbee, etc. I’m not taking it personally, I’m taking it as a blow to PL’s like myself. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out WHY it was done. (nothing personal!)
Re: ‘And, if “confused” girls who are “hurt” want help, they’ll ask for it.”…as someone who has NEVER done any type of sidewalk counseling, you would NEVER understand the notion that these young hurt & confused girls APPROACH us!!! Not the other way around. We are just there in case someone needs us…AND THEY DO!!!
I will, however, agree with you that I am too sensitive…Thank God for that! Without sensitiviy, one cannot be sensitive to the needs of others…something again, doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out (Nothing Personal!)
Ester, are you saying they shouldn’t be out there picketing? I see some women in that group. Are you trying to tell her what to do with her body? Are you trying to tell her she can’t march her body up and down a public street? Are you telling her what kinds of sign her body can hold?

Ephesians 5:18 (New International Version)
18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.
Esther,
Obviously, you’ve never held a (PL) sign!
“I was just stating that I found it “extremely coincidental” that it would be done at this time.”
Well, I hate to say it, but no shit Sherlock…..the clinic is open, and of course, PLers will be there, protesting.
“I live in the area, Womyn, and have to tell you that there has always been MANY people walking through the empty lot, riding their bikes through it, playing frisbee, etc”
Ok, but they aren’t protesting or harassing people, are they? No offense, but PLers dont exactly have the best rap sheet when it comes to “peaceful protesting.” They just dont want people to get hurt on their property.
“I’m not taking it personally, I’m taking it as a blow to PL’s like myself.”
A blow? What, you’re pissed you can’t trespass and protest? How is it a “blow”?
“as someone who has NEVER done any type of sidewalk counseling, you would NEVER understand the notion that these young hurt & confused girls APPROACH us!!! Not the other way around. We are just there in case someone needs us…AND THEY DO!!!”
Are you a psychologist, or a psychiatrist? Are any of these “sidewalk counselers” trained in the field of counseling?
Plus, I view it more as a pirranah feeding on the weak. These girls are going through something difficult, and these protesters are taking advantage of them at their weakest moments. Nice.
“I will, however, agree with you that I am too sensitive…Thank God for that! Without sensitiviy, one cannot be sensitive to the needs of others…something again, doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out (Nothing Personal!)”
What would I take personl? Of course its good to be sensitive, btu not too sensitive. I think we both agree that too much of a good thing is a bad thing. You let things that are out of your control negatively affect you. Thats a little scary.
I apologize for making you so angry…my original post was never directed at you. I was just stating my “Choice” of how I don’t want to shop there.
“Plus, I view it more as a pirranah feeding on the weak. These girls are going through something difficult, and these protesters are taking advantage of them at their weakest moments. Nice.”
Yes, tearing your own flesh and blood apart piece by piece IS very difficult – I agree…How absolutely mean of us to to be there for them if they want to talk about it first.
I’m not angry, just a little taken back, thats all.
“Yes, tearing your own flesh and blood apart piece by piece IS very difficult – I agree…How absolutely mean of us to to be there for them if they want to talk about it first.”
Well, considering that you have an agenda……kind of a conflict of interest. Leave the counselling to the professionals.
Our agenda is to reach out to women (and their partners or husbands) in crisis pregnancies to offer them a choice. Yes, a choice. A choice to keep the child they have conceived. A choice to receive love and support. That is our agenda. No apologies.
Choosing between keeping a pregnancy or keeping a pregnancy? Where is the choice in that?
Jonathon:
Having lived, as a child, in that WAR ZONE you speak of, I find it interesting how different our experiences and perspectives are. Being right on the border, outside of Newry, I would expect to have seen some similar things to you. But other than the guns on the border, and the stories of family and the news, I never saw firsthand anything remotely like what you witnessed.
The manner of death may be different, but the death is the same. What makes death tragic should not be quantified by the feelings of those left behind, the gruesomeness of the death itself or the perceived value of the person lost, but the loss of that unique individual whose life had value in and of itself.
I find all death tragic, be it a homeless man, an unborn baby or a 7 year old child. Those were unique people who will never again(or ever) roam the earth and to me, their lives had value.
JKeller,
Choosing between not raping a woman or not raping a woman. Where is the choice in that?
Obviously, a man could still choose to rape a woman. But he would be breaking the law.
If abortion becomes illegal, a woman can still “choose” to have one. But she would be accepting new risks…as in incarceration, just like the rapist.
We realize that criminalizing abortion won’t end abortion. But it puts us, as a country, on the right side of the “moral” debate.
How would you feel if rape was suddenly decriminalized? Wouldn’t you be ashamed of our country? I would. And even if rape continued after it was criminalized, at least I would know that the stand that our country took on this horrendous offense was the right one.
What a country stands for is separate from what it’s individuals do.
Nambla has the exact same mentality and reasoning for the legalization of Man/Boy relationships that the pro choice side has on abortion…God forbid the “country” ever sides with them. What will you say then?
You’re telling me that county cork Ireland was a battle zone? Are we talking about the same county cork? The one on planet earth?
Posted by: mk at October 15, 2007 8:38 PM
I think you’ve discovered the inconsistencies in Jonathan’s stories. County Cork is about as far away as you can get from the fighting in Northern Eire and still be in the country.
“How would you feel if rape was suddenly decriminalized? Wouldn’t you be ashamed of our country?”
I know I’m ashamed of our country since torture was decriminalized and citizens can be held indefinately without charges or a lawyer. But I digress.
If abortion was criminalized I would feel very sad. And, yes, ashamed. I would wonder how could such a thing happen in a formally “free” country. I would worry about women, both young and not so young, who had unwanted pregnancies. I would worry about the doctors brave enough to help them, facing criminal charges. I would join millions of other freedom loving rational people to get the law overturned. Luckily, I see zero chance of that ever happening, so I can selfishly go on with my life unconcerned.
How is a chain-link fence “urban” and “ghetto”? Now you’re racist, Jill. Nice.

Actually, the fact that you see “urban” and “ghetto” and think of a specific race is far more telling….
Take a look at your own prejudices.
If abortion was illegal, I’d slap a substantial fine on abortionists for each abortion, with jail time if the fine is not paid.Get them in the pocketbook where it HURTS. I would not punish the women. They are victims.
Why doesn’t the IRS investigate the ACCOUNTING practices of the abortion clinics? Does any one know if this has ever been done? A lot of income for abortions performed is never reported by abortionists to the IRS. It’s cash and carry. The way they (the FEDS) finally got Al Capone in jail was for TAX FRAUD.
Hey Denver!
May God bless you in your fight against Planned Parenthood.
You are in our prayers.
Remember O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known, that anyone who fled to Thy protection,
implored Thy help, or sought Thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto Thee, O Virgin of Virgins, my Mother. To Thee I come, before Thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in Thy mercy, hear and answer me, Amen.
Fresa, i dont know what it was like for you, or even how old you are. but when i was at boarding school (30+ years ago now) there were still raids across the boarder, terrorist action on a weekly basis, and many many other armed dangers all over Ireland.
Anon; if you read my response to MK, you would see i was NOT talking about my home, but were i went to Boarding school. MK and i have talked before and i told her i was send across the country for school.
Hal,

mk, I agree about everyting you said about rape being illegal. And, I understand your analogy. I just don’t feel that way about abortion.

Sweetheart, I’m from Los Angeles.
Why would Jill use the words “urban” and “ghetto” to describe a fence around an empty lot?
Do you people really have nothing better to do? Why don’t you take all the energy you are wasting and use that energy to educate young people?
Heather,
Sorry to hear about your friend & your emotional times…Satan is REALLY at work here…I haven’t been around because my Grandmother passed away on Wednesday…my computer got a HORRIBLE virus on Friday (fixed now, though!)….life is getting back to normal, now…I WILL NOT GIVE UP!!!! What’s really strange, though, is that I would have rather been at the mill on Saturday to help out than being at the funeral…I figured that my Grandma has already passed, but my presence there may have helped SAVE a life!!! I felt guilty…Wierd, huh?

Wow! That’s cold. You’d rather honor a possible life that would unlikely ever touch your life, and has done nothing to deserve your honor rather than the life of your own grandmother?
I suppose the distractions of how you believe that abortion is going to cause the country to devalue the worth of the elderly is the reason that you devalue the worth of your grandmother. @@
“I grea up in a war zone, I’ve seen all these things. and by comparison, that video does NOT disturb me.”
there’s no hope for you then.

Yes dear, only the naive, inexperienced in life and guillable are hopefull in your eyes.
All this picketing in Aurora and how many abortions have you prevented? ZERO.
Paul,
Thanks for the kind words & prayer.
Sally,
The only “Job” going on at the fenced in area is the grass growing. Perhaps I need to get foot helmets?
SoMG,
All this picketing in Aurora and how many abortions have you prevented? ZERO.
Sally,
Have you been to the PP site in Aurora?
If you had, you would know that this is not a construction site. The vacant lot owned by Dominick’s/Safeway is just a vacant, grassy field. There is no construction going on there.
But the hard hats and safety vests aren’t a bad idea. Maybe even a bullet-proof vest would be a good investment to protect against the crazy PCers that drive by screaming obscenities. Who knows what they might do.
Btw Sally, have you read the comments by the yllas?
Womyn said, “Sweetheart, I’m from Los Angeles.”
ahhhh that explains it! I can see clearly through her murky comments now!!!

Considering the size of Ireland you aren’t talking about a very great distance. Do you live in closer proximity to Northern Ireland than Jonathon?
abortion is much worse than whatever happened in Northern Ireland. I think it was over-hyped.

Shame shame shame upon you.

Hmmm. I lived in the UK from 1977 through 1980. Being part of the US military we had letter bomb protection as a mandatory requirement. The carnage was on the news every day. You are either very young or left before you were old enough to have a clue.
And yes, the only mournfull loss of life is that of one that had meaning to those left to mourn. I find mourning the loss of a life yet to be gained a bit superficial compared to a person with a life lived.

Honey, the first priority on a construction sight is security and safety. If this is not going to be a construction sight you would have a point and the PL absolutely no reason to be hanging out or posting stories about it now would they.

Oh really? PL folks are obsessing over an empty lot? Oh puleeze. If you knew anything about commercial construction you wouldn’t be making silly statements.
Like contraception just throwing hard hats and safety vests at people isn’t really helpful without education.

I do not shop at Dominicks or Safeway any longer. I have sent them an e-mail letting them know why. I am appalled that Dominicks went to such great lengths to make a pro-abortion statement by errecting a large fence around their empty lot. My children don’t need to shop at children unfriendly places.

Hoe does being dumber than a sack of hammers feel?
I no longer park in parking garages because they have made a pro abortion statement by erecting a large fence around the construction of one and the unfinished part of another. I can’t believe that I can’t loiter in these places anymore, they are sure not getting my dollar an hour.
As a cashier I can pretty much say that Dominick’s won’t really miss your business…

God you’re so f*cking dumb. You’re boycotting Safeway because they erected a fence around an empty lot so crazy mofos like you won’t picket there and tresspass on their land?
Sweet Jesus, this is why this country is going to hell.
And seriously, erecting a fence around a vacant lot so looneys can’t protest there is a pro-abortion statement? Please. I feel sorry for your kids because you passed down your idiocy and your ignorance and you’re plain stupidity onto your children. I hope they dont end up morons like you.
I’m going to boycott a local grocery store because they have too many handicapped spaces in the parking lot.
Planned Parenthood does not commit abortions?
We’ve been tracking Denver Planned Parenthood’s plans to build a 50,000 sq. ft. abortuary, in an apparent contest to earn the coveted title of PP’s largest U.S. abortion mill, which Aurora Planned Parenthood currently holds at 22,000 st. ft. Weitz…
