As for the last poll, there apparently aren’t a lot of Democrats on this site. Whereas my poll asking Republicans which presidential candidate they would pick yielded 531 responses, this poll yielded only 106.
I was surprised Obama came in 1st. I expected Hillary to claim top spot. Perhaps the answers reflect a more youthful audience of liberals on this site. Here is the breakdown…

That’s a hard one, but I think I would just punch a straight “R” ticket, and pray to God that Guiliani’s advisors can knock some sense into him!!!
Not surprising, those who support abortion would love to have him for president, he’ll even let you let you abort your baby alive if you wish.
I want to clarify because I’m sure Rosie is talking about Obama, who twice voted against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act in IL.

In terms of abortion Hillary and Obama are about the same. But at least Obama is honest.
Watching the Dem debates, there are lots of times where HIllary had to “explain” herself.

I’d just hang myself.
I wouldn’t enjoy the choice, but I would vote for Hillary and probably send her money. Rudy would be a disaster.
*yawns* Considering I’m pretty sure with the election being hardly two weeks away that this is the ticket we’ll end up with. I wouldn’t be so hasty about that, Jacque. Maybe you could just move to some place a little more religious? I’ve heard beautiful things about the Vatican.
Anyhow, I’m a Dem. I’ll vote Dem. What I’m actually excited about is how well this election is going to bode for us- because Guiliani is such a moderate in terms of the Republicans, he’s losing a lot of votes from the more right-wingers for third parties- taking away Guiliani votes and making us stronger. I can deal with that.
My flag always says I live in West Bloomfield. I don’t. I live in Royal Oak.
Re: the new poll question. Good one, Jill. For liberals and conservatives alike. I know there are a lot of liberals who really really dislike Clinton. I’ll have to think about this one before answering.
I put down Hillary for now, mostly so I could look at the results thus far. My answer may change.
But now it says I live in Detroit. wtf…
If the choice is Hillary vs. Rudy, I would vote for Rudy, but only because he has promised to nominate originalist judges. We need one more originalist on the Supreme Court to reverse Roe v. Wade, and we’re definitely not going to get that with Hillary. So I wouldn’t be happy about doing it, but I would vote for Rudy.
I’m surprised so many republicans wouldn’t vote for some other third party candidate if at all. If life is the greatest issue regardless of the others, then why vote for any of them?
My vote is arsenic. Whether it’s for me or them, doesn’t much matter…someone’s got to go…
Seriously tho, I’d vote for Caligula if he was running against Hillary.
I don’t like either….. I might not vote at all. To be honest, I wasn’t thrilled mightily by any candidate…

Jacque, don’t hang yourself, just move to Mexico, I bet we can work out some kind of trade agreement, Mexicans who want to come to America can become Americans and Americans who don’t want Hillary as their president can move to Mexico to take their place (and their jobs….LOL). Fair for everyone.
And really MK, Caligula? If he was running there would be no election, since he would go all psycho demented dictator on everyone and go ahead and just declare himself emperor….

MK, thats my answer (for now) as I do not like either of them, and i feel it is my duty as a voting -age citizen (well come, election day)to vote. Even if I give Hillary the edge, at least I voted (unlike so many, who then go and complain. Gr.) If Hilary takes it, ok fine. I think I’d rather her than guliani, but i won’t vote for her. (Kinda like how a family member refuses to vote kennedy for senate each round, joke about it with them all the time)
My favorite emperor is probably Trajan.
Caligula was a sad case, really. His childhood was ruined by his sadistic uncle, who had the rest of his family tortured, imprisoned, and/or killed. Then Caligula had to go live with his uncle, who loved molesting young boys. Shortly after he became emperor he got really sick and it completely messed him up psychologically to become the Caligula that we think of now.
