Cute, but I turned off Ellen a while ago. Especially after she had the Obamas on. Did you see them attempt to dance? Ain’t got no rhythem!
Aren’t we all glad that her parents didn’t abort this little child prodigy?
The point is that EVERY SINGLE CHILD ever conceived is a gift to the world and we have murdered 50,000,000 of them in this country alone.

Wow, guys, way to be non-judgmental. I think Ellen is great and could teach that little girl way more about tolerance than you guys ever will.

People pray for and forgive you all the time, but then you go and say something stupid and we have to forgive you all over again. It’s almost too much work.
Why would this girl go live with Ellen? Is she the new Angelina Jolie, picking up kids left and right?
I will never understand how anyone can find someone in a loving, committed relationship with another person a pervert. Does Ellen molest children? Does she do anything but encourage love towards others and tolerance? Bring laughter to people daily on tv? In my eyes, she’s just another married woman in a happy relationship. Calling her a pervert breaks my heart.

Jo – Why are you commenting on someone’s sex-life? Its a little girl and she’s on Tv playing piano and you’re worried about the host’s sexlife? How sick are you?
This clip was really about the little girl- she was so cute and sweet and I posted it because I thought she was so talented and special.
I hope y’all can understand that this video clip was only intended to make people smile.

Bethany, I agree, it is a wonderful, adorable clip and perfect for Lunch Break. I just hate how it always has to come back to “Ellen is gay, so Ellen is bad”
Can’t we ever just look past sexuality and say “gosh, what a nice little segment. How cute!”
Ellen’s TV sitcom tanked because she made one too many comments about her gay lifestyle. She often talks about her wife on her new show, so she’s the one who brings up her own love life.
Also, Ellen is a riot. However, the fact remains that homosexuality is, and always will be, an abomination.

When you pray for someone simply because they are different from you it kinda mocks god from my perspective. People are different, just the way God made ’em and somehow you’re not satisfied. Jeez, you’d be amazed what supposedly straight people do in bed.
Your prayer (or Carla’s) is not prayer, it’s condescension to God – basically demanding that he\she change a stranger simply because you don’t like the way you think she is. How ugly is that prayer? People talk about taking God’s name in vain, but that’s a prayer that takes creation in vain.

Even supposing you’re right…
Why is it ugly to desire that people who are different than you will end up with you in Heaven someday?
Well, Paul must have been an ugly person when he prayed for Israel to be saved:
Rom 10:1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
Here are some other examples of praying for others:
“Epaphras, who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends his greetings. He is always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured” —Colossians 4:12.
“I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe” —Ephesians 1:16-19a.
“For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And this is just the tip of the iceberg. The Bible says we are to pray without ceasing. We are to pray for the salvation of others, the encouragement and lifting up of others, etc. There is nothing unbiblical or “ugly” about those types of prayers. Quite the opposite. You are reading condescension into something that isn’t there.
I love Ellen. I watched her when she went on Johnny Carson the first time and he invited her to come over for a chat. That was the big time for her career. I think she is extremely talented and has a God given sense of humor. I would like to see her in heaven someday and I pray for her to that end.
Oh, and I pray for everyone who ever posts here. You included, YLT. :)
Carla, I watched her on Leno a few nights ago, and she just cracks me up! I want her in heaven too.
Did you see her first performance on Carson? She did a bit about being on the phone with God. God had to put her on hold because someone was at the gate. Hilarious!! :)
I know!!! She has a GIFT in the humor department!! I did not see the Carson episode. On Leno she was talking about Twittering and said that there were a few “TWITS”…I was rolling!

I have been thinking of you all day. You have been commenting here longer than I have. Yet, I know nothing about you. I am sure that is the way you want it. But you and everyone else here is cordially invited into my life. Click my name. I have met some amazing people here. Many email me for various reasons and I have gotten to know them and their stories. Perhaps someday you will relate to others here in a different, less hostile way. Perhaps not.
Maybe the God you worship is small enough to condescend to. Mine is not. He is bigger than anything I or anyone else could ever do. I have done some HORRID things in my life. My child died in an abortion clinic. God is bigger than abortion!! He has forgiven me. I am His. He is mine.
