Whoa! The one who drew Earth on her belly actually made for a very powerful image about life, Earth, and new hope. I mean, I don’t know if she intended that or if she was just expressing her creative side, but it was cool. :)
They’re all amazing!
how about a picture of what’s really there – a baby!
not sure I like the idea of all that paint on a pregnant woman’s skin. hmmm…
What? No watermelon painted belly?
Those are cool!!

angel, nice idea! Hopefully one of Jill’s readers will take the idea and run with it. :)

Near the end of the pregancy, when even the ‘innie’ becomes an ‘outie’, the protruding navel gives the abdomen an torpedoesque appearance.
This is something that only guys who watched WWII movies as a boy would ‘get’.
The other image that comes to mind is that of a young child inflating a ballon by mouth and the uneasy feeling you get cause you just know it’s going to burst with the next breath.
Q: What is a navel [naval] destroyer?
A: A hulahoop with a nail in it!

I must confess, I found them feaky.
Sorry. “Feaky” should be “freaky”.
Don’t even think it guys… I’m sooooo not painting my belly!
I had a friend who was pregnant around Halloween and worked at an office that had a contest.
She put a little cardbord “oven” around her belly and had a bun inside of it. She came in second.
I went to a Halloween party last year at which a woman had that, except inside the “oven” was a sonogram of their kid. The young husband wore an apron that said, “BUN MAKER.”
