Quote of the Day 9-8-0
From the Words of Choice blog, September 7:
… But it was especially gratifying to see a picture of the ad hoc ProChoice Mobile in Bellevue, NE, on August 28-29, as supporters of choice delivered a roaring response to anti-abortion protesters at the clinic of Dr. LeRoy Carhart….

Operation Rescue, on the other hand, is known for its hideous trucks with ultra-magnified photos of bloody images, which it claims (and others dispute) are fetal remains….
This is an image that should be emblazoned and imprinted on the minds of every pro-choice activist as a brilliant idea that merits repetition…. [T]he gesture is uplifting and joyful, and that also mocks the cynical and ugly propaganda of OR.

“This is an image that should be emblazoned and imprinted on the minds of every pro-choice activist as a brilliant idea that merits repetition…. “
LOL. I’m sorry, but that’s a picture of an accident waiting to happen. Did they get a photo after the crash?
Oh, man…so many jokes that I can make about this van…
But I just watched “10 Questions for the Dalai Lama” and I’ve been sufficiently convinced that it would be sinking to a very bleak level indeed and that it’s a habit that I must (albeit unwillingly) combat.
But I might point out that uno). there’s nothing radical about respecting equal rights for women and children and dos). those aren’t fake pictures; they’re found in textbooks, people…
Go to Operation Rescue’s website to see the prochoice army of five covering their faces and refusing to look at ultrasound images of the saved baby. Then read the tweets of @clinicescort accusing them of lying.
Ok, so when I went for my 12 week ultrasound of my daughter years ago, I saw a spine, skull, feet, hands, and she was kicking and turning over.
Now, what I see in the “cynical, ugly propaganda” of OR are remains of feet, eyes, hands, rib cages, etc…
So, you PC people tell me: what would YOU expect to see as the aborted “products of conception?” I’m thinking it’s the height of denial to say “those aren’t fetal remains” when we know exactly (thanks to ultrasound technology) what those “remains” looked like while they were yet alive.
The science is not on the PC side. It’s no wonder they refuse to look at ultrasound images. to them, the truth will always be “propaganda.”
Just like the ‘Holocaust Deniers’ who say that pictures of those murdered in the concentration camps were ‘propaganda’. And watching my baby daughter on the sonogram screen throwing her long legs up over her head was ‘just my imagination’…as you said Kel, to them, the TRUTH will always be ‘propaganda’.
This blogger is “clueless.” Doesn’t have a clue!
