Quote of the Day 11-18-09
Rachael Maddow on Fort Hood killer:
If you’re interested in more than just making political hay out of the Fort Hood case, these are the sort of legitimate questions you would want to ask before labeling this, or any case, an instance of terrorism. Those who are calling this terrorism are making their case in large part because Major Hasan is a Muslim and because he is alleged to have said, “God is great,” before the shootings. And while it might make for exciting politics to argue that murders committed by religious Muslims are presumptively terrorist acts, those exciting political allegations actually say a lot more about the people making them than they do about the real character of the tragedy at Fort Hood and how we as a country should respond to it.
Rachael Maddow on Scott Roeder:
We begin tonight with another deadly act of domestic terrorism.
As Maddow said this, a photo of Tiller was shown situated above the word TERRORISM in capitalized block letters, lest anyone miss the point.

Rachael, Rachael Rachael.
Is someone else writing your copy for you?? Pay attention to what you are saying!
I think Rachael could actually be a pretty good reporter if the liberal brainwashing she’s received were to fade away. (But then, what do I know, I don’t watch her all that often.)
Ms. Maddow should close her mouth. What happened at Fort Hood is not a tragedy. It was an act of terrorism. It’s not just sad or heartbreaking — it’s the natural fruit of cowardly political correctness on our part, and the natural fruit of insane, violent radicalism on Hasan’s part. It was a slaughter that should have been prevented because it was entirely preventable.
It isn’t political hay to call it what it really was. What Maddow is doing only further wounds the families whose loved ones were murdered, and frankly, all Army families, because now we know for sure who our government is really interested in protecting.
God bless our soldiers, their families, and this still-great-though-screwed up country.
We call her MaddCOW, because she was madder than RacHELL that PMS was already taken.
Dear RacHELL,
‘Eat more chicken!’
If the only two things we had to go on were that Major Hassan is a self identified Muslim and shouted ‘God is great!’ before shooting his fellow soldiers, that would be enough to give some serious consideration to the notion that this was ‘probably’ a premeditated act of terrorism.
But missy MaddCOW, that is not the only evidence we have.
Hassan had been making some pretty bizarre public statements concerning the WAR in Iraq and Afghanistan. Nidal had been in contact with some known terrorists and terrorist sympathizers. Nidal applauded the shootings of the two recruiters in Little Rock, Arkansas earlier this year. Haddan had suggested out loud that it would be a good idea if some suicidal/homicidal ‘soldiers of Allah’ strapped on some high explosives and walked into a crowded American market place and wagee jihad against the ‘infidels’ by detonating the bombs and killing as many people as possible.
Then there was Hassan’ choice of firearms and the number of extra high capacity magazines he had on his person when two police officers brought this ‘man made disaster’ to a sudden halt.
There are also those three letters Hassan had printed on his business cards, ‘S.O.A.’ which when translated from Jew hating mass murderer into English means ‘soldier of Allah’ or ‘serve only Allah’ or it could mean ‘Shoot Only Americans’ or Sh-t on America’.
But B.O. and boot lickin spokesweasels like missy MaddCOW would want us to believe that the ‘SOA’ stands for ‘sold on America’ or ‘servant of America’.
I really do not care with what god SOA Hassan affiliates himself. It is the ideology he professes, the activity he applauds, the people with whom he consorts and the people he choose to murder that give me good reason to NOT turn my back or even offer my other cheek, unless it would be to ‘fart in his general direction’.
