If anyone truly believes this couple crashed the state dinner, contact me. I’ve got some ocean front property near my house here in the midwest to sell you.
You’re the same people who believe some low level flunkie in the White House ordered Air Force 1 to fly over New York and Obama was oblivious to the whole incident.
Mary,
What’s your take on this story? Diversionary tactic?
Hi Janet,
I understand the social secretary, who is ALWAYS present at such events to check the name with the guest list, was absent and the WH is not allowing her to testify before congress on this matter. Neither is the couple. The Republicans want her supoenaed as well as the couple.
Why not have the social secretary testify?
If Obama is so “concerned” wouldn’t he demand these people be subpoenaed and made to testify?
Wouldn’t they want to clear themselves?
I’d think Obama, the Secret Service, and congress would go after this like pirahnas.
With all the layers of security this is just a little smelly to me. I suspect they got in on a wink and a nod, that Obama knew them and wanted them there. Perhaps he assumed the word would not get out they didn’t have an invitation. Obama can all the time proclaim his profound innocence, shock, and indignation, and again let some flunkies take the rap.
Just like Obama feigned his shock and indignation of the Air Force 1 incident while some low level flunky got canned. These people are shameless.
Mary,
I agree the situation needs to be investigated as a matter of national security. This White House doesn’t seem to take much of anything seriously. Abortion, tax evasion, national security procedures, they’re no big deal. I’m afraid it’s a sign of the times and it’s embarrassing at times to be a part of this generation.
luv the funny foto.
I would luv it even if it did not ‘annoy’ some of my fellow bloggers.
yor bro ken
Um, she can find his birth certificate online. Plus two newspaper articles announcing his birth.
Hi Ken,
Just another example of Amateur Hour at the White House.
Can you imagine the amount of trouble you,me, or any ordinary citizen would get into by just attempting to get into a WH state dinner uninvited? Yet here are these folks dressed to the nines, shaking hands with the president and the leader of India. Obviously these aren’t just any people off the street and I suspect the Obamas knew perfectly well who they were.
My suspicion is the social secretary got permission to let these people in from Obama or the First Lady and the Secret Service was ordered to let them in. All hell broke loose when it was discovered and so Obama must feign his “indignation” and some low level flunkies have to take the rap.
When the social secretary is permitted to tesify, you would think an “enraged” President Obama would insist as much, and proves me wrong I will eat my words.
Ken and Janet,
Just try getting on a plane without proper documentation and ID and a security check.
Are we supposed to believe the Secret Service stood by with their fingers up their noses while these two breezed on through?
Mary,
I’m not sure we’ll ever know really. I’m sure the rest of the world is laughing. Is the Indian government angry/ Have they commented?
Maybe the Secret Service stepped away just a minute to refill their punch glasses and appetizer plates.
This party-crashing woman, I don’t remember her name, according to one report was wearing a dress generally worn for Indian weddings. Where the heck did she find the dress? Perhaps that will lead to more clues to this mystery Inquiring minds want to know.
I don’t mean to make light of this. It’s serious. But as Carla says, “If I do not find the humor in this life, I will lose my mind.”
Have a great weekend!
Hi Janet,
I read the Indian leader and gov’t were not pleased, in fact they were angry.
Sadly I must agree the rest of the world is laughing. We need to be deeply concerned that our enemies can hardly contain themselves. They must be overwhelmed by their good fortune in Obama being president.
Thanks. You have a great weekend too.
