This is a great time of year to receive Jesus into your heart. He came to save us from our sin and restore us into a right relationship with the Father, by His Blood.
As the prophet Isaiah wrote some 800 years before Jesus was born:
?For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a ?Son is given;
And ?the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
?Wonderful, Counselor, ?Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, ?Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace
?There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The ?zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. Is 9:6-7
He loves you with an everlasting love. Look what He prayed to the Father before He went to the cross for you:
?“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who ?will believe in Me through their word; ??that they all may be one, as ??You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the ?glory which You gave Me I have given them, ?that they may be one just as We are one: ?I in them, and You in Me; ?that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.”
??“Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; ??for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. ? O righteous Father! ?The world has not known You, but ??I have known You; and ??these have known that You sent Me. ?And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love ?with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” Jn 17:20-26
Finally, Jesus said, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, ?and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” Jn 14:23
If you will call upon the Lord and repent of your sin and turn to Him with all your heart, He will save you, birth you into His Kingdom, and come and make His home with you. He will give you grace and power, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead, and empower you to live for Him. To live a life worthy of the Lamb that was slain for you.
