Quote of the Day 12-16-09
How do you call yourself a feminist if you say that it’s not necessarily a bad thing for a totalitarian state to tell women how many children they can have?
~Laura Ingraham, interviewing National Post editor Diane Francis on her support of China’s one-child policy to combat climate change, Fox’s O’Reilly Factor, December 14

Great interview by Ingraham although I think its a bit bizarre when Ingraham suggests that the Catholic Church will cease to exist if a one-child policy were enacted.
Diane Francis sounds like the typical liberal talking on this population control issue who speaks without thinking first. How will we know when the world’s population is “under control”? Duh.
I love how Ingraham suggests that the liberals should stop having children. I’d suggest they should include grandchildren and great grandchildren. Really. Do it for the planet. No abortions though. Stop having sex. You’ll have more time for saving stuff.
Janet, liberals generally speaking do have fewer children than conservatives, so in the long run, the culture war may be a war of attrition.
Liberal progressive humanists who are advocating using the power of the state to coerce or outright force citizens to limit the number of their children before pregancy, during pregnancy or after a live birth are as zealously dogmatic about their ‘doctrine’ as any bible thumping evangelist I have ever encountered.
I have never encountered an evangelist who advocated the arbitrary elimination of the very people Jesus died to save.
Diane Francis is a leftist loon who has taken leave of the good sense that God gave her.
Just look at a map of Canada. Compare the area and the population with the United States. Look at Canada’s abundant natural resources.
It is painfully obvious that this ‘progressive humanist’ does not get out much and has been educated/indoctrinate way beyond her intelligence and she is a very intelligent fool.
